This hotel deserves way better reviews! Yes, the rooms are small. It's a budget hotel in the middle of Ximen, what do you expect? I actually was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the bathroom, there is even a table inside. We stayed 5 nights here as a couple and didn't get cabin fever. There's even windows! Which isn't common in Taipei budget hotels. The rooms are super clean, freshly renovated, the mattress is comfy and there is free coffee, tea and a water dispenser. The location is perfect, a short walk to Ximen metro station and 15min to Taipei Main station. There's also a youbike station right next to the hotel. It's a perfect base for exploring Taipei and there's lots of tasty food spots right next to it. We also appreciated the huge luggage storage room, the washing machine+ dryer, and the convenient reception opening hours. Compared to lots of other hotels in Taiwan we've stayed at where there's no reception at all and you gotta text someone on Line for the door code, this one was really convenient and tourist friendly. The lady working the reception is also very friendly. And you can pay via credit card! This is the first hotel in Taiwan we've stayed at which isn't cash only.

I would've appreciated a liquid soap dispenser on the sink in addition to the shower gel, but not having soap seems to be the norm in Taiwan hotels for some reason. I also don't understand why the coffee machine cannot be used before 9. Other than that, it was a perfectly pleasant stay though!

Staff were very friendly. Location was good. Walking distance to ximending. Place was clean.

Check in timing was really late at 5pm. Room and toilet was small.

Great location. AC works best to combat the heat. Cold and hot shower. Rest room is small but water pressure is good. Would be great to add a bidet.

The hotel is very near the market, the room is clean, and the staff are nice.

1. There’s no key card for the room door; it only has a doorknob lock, which makes me quite worried if staying alone. 2. The room isn’t soundproof. 3. I stayed for three nights and asked the housekeeper to clean the room, but the bedsheets were not changed.

Good location and not far from Ximenting MRT. Staff is friendly and nice. But The room is not soundproof.

The bathroom smell was really strong in the room and hard to avoid because it was so small. Also the bed was a little bit hard but more comfy than I expected.

Very basic hotel. There's hot water to drink on the lobby. The location is very close to shopping areas.

The rooms were very small and you can hear outside due to the thin walls. The hotel is a little bit old and run-down. TV in the room does not work.

The toilet is very smelly, Although has been clean. I think might be the toilet sewage issue. My friend room has the same issue. I would not recommend to stay there.

Very Nice hotel for an affordable price. Rooms everything you need and are very clean. It is in a very convenient area of Ximending but it’s on the quieter side of the main area so it wasn’t noisy.

The property was at a convenient location and that was the only good thing.

The property is extremely old. The toilets don’t function properly and they clog easily. The rooms are so old and humid they smell like mold. The drains in the bathroom had drain flies. The staff was extremely rude — when we told them the toilet had clogged, the lady in the front desk responded apathetically and just said the pipes are old and they’ll get the cleaning staff to clean later. This place is a total scam. I would strongly warn people against staying at this property.
