The breakfast was buffet and delicious! As someone who was going to bike around, this provided me with sufficient food and I enjoy the spread. The staff really made my day, and I enjoyed the conversations during check ins and check outs. The bathroom was spacious and the hot water shower was strong and enjoyable. It was well worth the money to start off my trip - I would recommend anyone coming to Hsinchu to stay here.

Just if you're not used to it, toilet paper doesn't go in toilet. But you can get used to it.

Very clean. Comfortable, good sized room with window. Comfortable bed. Very delicious breakfast. Very responsive front desk. Excellent location near train, busses, night and day markets and temples.

Very friendly staff. The employee working the front desk when I arrived was super friendly and helpful. He didn’t speak English but used Google Translate app to communicate loads of useful information and make sure I had everything I needed. Other staff members I interacted with later spoke English as well. I arrived by bicycle and had the option to store my bike in the lobby or in my room, which was spacious. They gave me a little map and food guide as well. Breakfast buffet in the morning was nice.

The front desk staff are incredibly enthusiastic, friendly, informative and helpful. Although the hotel is located inside a commercial building, it's very easy to locate as it's right opposite the local government building. It's also quiet at night. This place is very convenient: no more than 5 mins taxi ride from Hsinchu train station, 5 mins walk to self laundry, walking distance to Dongmen night markets, city god temple night markets and the huge Big City shopping mall. The room is a bit dated but clean and well equipped. Since we actually shower inside the bath tub and there is a shower curtain, the bathroom won't become a wet room. The complimentary buffet style breakfast offers a wide array of typical Chinese dishes, as well as toast and spreads and fresh fruits. Coffee is surprisingly good as it's from real bean.

Nothing that I didn't like.

Fantastic staff, with the manager going out of her way to help out with lending umbrellas for whenever I had to go outside when it was raining, packing a complimentary lunch box when I wouldn't have time to have lunch and to give advice on where to have dinner. Also low cost, very comfortable beds, Netflix and YouTube on the TV and good breakfast. Highly recommended!

The breakfast can use some more variety. There is no heating system, but it would be fine unless you travel in the midst of winter like I did.

The staff is very friendly and the place is always clean. In addition to free breakfast, you get water, juice and some snacks.

The staff are very friendly and told me a lot about local foods. She also lent me an air dehumidifier to help dry the washed clothes. The breakfast is also very good.

Bathroom access requires stepping up. Not much that can be done since the hotel is built into repurposed office space. One thing that I felt lacking was counter space to put my toiletry bag in the bathroom. The walls between the rooms are not sound insulated at all.

Room cleanliness and staff friendliness are A+. The breakfast spread was good, congee primarily. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful to us.

When my local friends send us to our hotel. It was situated at 11th floor and our room was on 12th floor. Front desk don’t mind us having 3 local friends to stay with us a big longer. While we having chit-chatting, the electricity at the door area was making some noise, as if it was having electric sort. We called the front desk and informed them the problem. The manager then told us he’s going to switch off all the lights in our room. Everything then in control, but after my friends left and we going to sleep, problem came back. We were so afraid that if the electric trigger again and caught fire. We barely sleep that night.

My flight was in the late evening. After booking was made, I send message that we were arrived later around 10pm. When we arrived around 9pm, the front desk reserved a big room for us. He personally lead us to the room. And indeed, the room was big. It comes with 6 seated sofa set and king size bed. We are glad they gave us big room. The booking comes with breakfast. It was great and have a lot of varieties.
