We stayed in six different hotels during our 7-day trip to Taiwan, and this one easily ranks #1. The facilities are new and well-maintained, and the location near the lake is perfect. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. What really made our stay exceptional was the host. Absolutely 100/10! He was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He even offered a bike tour, which gave us a deeper appreciation of Sun Moon Lake, and shared so many helpful recommendations for other places to visit in Taiwan. We truly felt special staying here. Highly recommend!

Nothing major, just a personal preference. Would be good to have a footpath sign for the Hotel - rather hard to find whilst driving and holding up other traffic down this busy narrow one way road. Parking is off site about a 5 - 7 minute walk away so best to drop off luggage at the Hotel door before parking. Parking is in a public boom gated parking area. You go past the Hotel and at the top of the road, turn right and about 200 - 300metres on the left hand side, you will see the carpark. Find a park and Hotel Reception will organise for you to come and go as you please whilst staying at the Hotel. (We had no problems with this arrangement but apparently some guests have. In that case, you just phone Hotel Reception and they will help you solve the issue.) Apparently this carpark can sometimes be full but there are other public car park options with arrangements with this Hotel. Breakfast was okay - buffet style and a lot of dishes were cold as left out with no warming stations to keep food hot.

Great location and comfortable bed. We booked one night in a room with 2 x Double beds and another night in a 1 x double bed room. The latter was much better for the 2 of us, with more space with the bath tub on an enclosed private balcony and the main bathroom separate with a shower cubicle in that area. Parking free but off site with some rather dodgy directions!

The bed was a little hard for me, but my partner was ok. The toilet door had open space at the top, so privacy was reduced. The room was quite dark because of the privacy screens on the balcony but these could be opened if you prefer.

Beautiful really well maintained spotless place at the very heart of Sun Moon Lake. The icing on the cake was the sunrise bike ride with the owner. It was a lifetime memory for us to bring away. Go and do it! Definitely worth getting up early for.

All aspects! All staff were incredibly accommodating and informative. Gave plenty of itinerary suggestions (both touristy and less touristy options) as well as restaurants. The owner takes you on an incredible bike ride before the sunrise to get the best views of the true sun moon lake. As well as information on different locations on the bike trail. This is a must if you come here! Wide selection of foods for the morning breakfast and the entire Villa is both tasteful and comforting. (This is my only 10/10 rating on booking.com to date)

Very comfortable modern facilities. The room might be a touch small but adequate. The whole premises is tastefully furnished. The location is simply brilliant, immediately close to Suishe Pier, with convenient store, Family, a few shops away.

The breakfast is adequate enough to last till early dinner time. The location is convenient and short walk from the bus stop. Likewise, catching the express bus to Taipei bus station. The lady owner was very helpful and recommended us 2 nice restaurants for dinner and the ferry ride as well as the cultural center. The ferry that cruise Sun Moon Lake is right across the street. You can just buy your ticket before boarding the ferry.

We stayed one night. The staff who greeted us was very nice, and provided lots of information. We didn't take advantage of the free early morning bike tour, but was a nice option. The location is close to the bus stop from Taichung, so convenient and easy to find, and we were able to leave our bags after check-out so we could explore before leaving the town.

We have had an excellent overall stay. This place definitely deserves a full marks and an excellent recommendation! The morning bike ride around sun and moon lake with the owner is totally worth it! Recommended to rent an e-bike to have a more enjoyable experience. Unless you are a cyclist in spandex, definitely rent an e-bike.

The location was perfect, very classy design that stand out differently from the rest of the hotel and stay in the area. The owner (host) of the stay (Mr and Mrs Wang and Wang Ma Ma) were very friendly and helpful to ensure that our needs were met. We observed that they did not serve same breakfast, so some good choices of variety day to day. The stay offered a 5 am sunrise cycling tour around the south of the lake free (just pay for your own bicycle rental), where there are some nice scenic spot to take picture of the tranquility of the lake which looks different. Mr Wang will personally lead the tour, and he explained and told stories of the lake that my family enjoyed. He will also help to take very beautiful picture for the for the family. There is no parking lot at the hotel, but the host will paid your vehicle parking for a nearby car park for the stay which we were grateful. There are some house rules, and love the rules so that everyone can be considerate and have a pleasant stay. The room are very interestingly designed and well maintained. We enjoyed the comfy stay and yet felt at home.
