Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesNeed more variety of snacks in the kitchen area. The walls are not really sound proof, I can hear people next door when they talk loud at night. Kids were too noisy. Otherwise, it's not a bad place.
Convenient location, central to all. Staff were helpful and friendly.

TaiwanLoved everything. If we had to make any suggestions, a recycling bin in the common area would be nice.
The hotel is very cozy and comfy, and the staff always greets us with a big warm smile. The common area is small, but offers a comfortable workspace, complete with snacks and beverages.

United StatesThere could be more hooks on which to hang items in the room and in the restroom. That would be useful.
Type of hotel that makes me wish I could stay here for a lot longer. Comfortable bed, cosy yet spacious enough room, very clean everything, a hot shower, a window that opens (thank God) and a mini fridge, professional and kind staff, and a tiny lounge with coffee and tea. Perfectly located, very close to the Taibei main train station and Taoyuan airport metro station.

HungaryAlthough there was a window, it was small, and overlooked a building about 1m away, so not much light could enter from outside. The aircon was very loud, the bath fan was not strong enough to dry the shower, and the hair dryer was useless, just heating with very weak airflow.
I had a room with two double beds for myself, so it felt quite spacious, but it would have been very crowded even for two people. The room was clean, there was shower gel and shampoo provided in the bathroom. There was a kettle and coffee and tea bags, plus bottled water. There are a Family Mart and a 7-Eleven just donwstairs.

United KingdomThe room is too small. It’s carpeted - easy to trap fleas . I felt bitten and itchy.
The location is convenient, near Taipei main station and lots of restaurants/cafes and Ximending. There’s the reception lobby on the second floor for people to relax in, with free tea/coffee and snacks 24hrs. Security to the hotel and room felt good.

AustraliaTo get out into the street, I couldn’t walk down to level one using the stairs, so i had to wait for the elevator each time. Not a big issue really, but just a bit of unnecessary waiting.
Location within 5 mins walk of Taipei Main Station. Comfortable firm mattresses and crisp clean sheets and pillowcases, functional air conditioning with ‘one button’ operation that ‘made sense’ (so many panels are full of symbols that make no sense?). The staff were really helpful. There are daytours that you can book on site. For brekky, McDonalds only 3 mins walk, or a lovely Taiwan pancake stall right next to Maccas if you want more traditional. Getting here: after you get off at Taipei Main Station from the Airport Express, come out at Exit 3 (Chongqing N Rd) and turn left. Walk straight up (about 5 mins) cross over the big intersection at Beiping Rd, until you get to Kaifeng St. Turn Right, and the hotel is just next door to the Family Mart in Kaifeng St. There’s a street sign outside, and it’s on level 2 of the building.

Singapore-Only one lift in the property and small in size making it difficult for large groups - Theres a gap above the toilet door, which allows for any smells from people using the washroom to waft into the room Fix these and the property is perfect
Location was excellent with close proximity to Ximen and Taipei Main Station. Its located next to a family mart and opposite a 7-11. Rooms were sized reasonably and fit my group of 3 and 4 quite well. Beds were comfortable and staff in lobby were v accomodating providing water whenever we requested.
