One of us thought the bed wasn't so comfortable - a bit hard, and the duvet wasn't really wide enough. But that's a personal preference as in general we would recommend the place.

Lovely, friendly welcome with a real effort to help us in limited English. The room was well thought out, with space to put things and included shower gel, water, biscuits and vouchers in lieu of breakfast.

Keep in mind the property has no lift, and room may be on 4th floor.

Property location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the bus station, the pier, plenty of bike rentals, and 7-11. The B&B also provided free bottles of water for the stay, discount vouchers for bike rentals, discounted boat ticket, and vouchers for food at 7-11. The landlady was super nice and helped explain where to go for my visit! Definitely recommend for a stay in Sun Moon Lake.

Wi-Fi wasn’t very strong and there is no elevator, which wasn’t a problem for us but may be for people who have accessibility/mobility issues. Not sure why it’s called B&B since they only gave 7-11 coupons.

The owner was very nice and welcoming. They have coupons for bike rentals and water bottles for free in the lobby. The room was fairly modern and was clean. Very close to the bus station and a short walk to the pier.

Owner very friendly and hospitable - helped me plan and gifted me a boat ticket (which was amazing and something i wouldnt otherwise have experienced!). There are discount vouchers for bike rentals - cycling the lake is a must do. Great location - close to bus stop, restaurants and attractions. Room is cute, comfortable and quiet. I extended a night as loved my stay. Very happy to have booked this rather than somewhere with a lake view. Will stay again next time I'm in the area!

The bathroom is very small, the shower is right next to the toilet and after having a shower the whole bathroom is wet. The price during the lunar new year holiday was hight for this kind of accommodation.

The location is perfect - in the centre of everything what you need (transport, food, services). The beds are very confortable. Very kind lady/owner at the reception.

Nothing. The house don’t have elevator so we had to climb to the 3rd floor, but because we didn’t have many luggage that was alright with us.

Everything. It about 50-60m from the bus station and the boat ticket office (Sun Moon Lake drop-off from Taichung Main Station). The staff were super nice. She even gave us a coupon for renting bicycle and a voucher of 50 yuan discount per person for 7eleven.

Extremely convenient, the staff was very friendly and provided great advice for us regarding our trip around Sun Moon Lake! As this was our first visit to Sun Moon Lake, the staff patiently guided us on what we should do, the timings that we should meet (based on the bus and ferry schedule), which was extremely helpful! The stay felt very homely and comfortable! The location of the B&B is extremely convenient as it is just about a minute or 2 away from the bus station! We had a great stay there and would definitely recommend it!

Excellent location right by the bus station, lake and pier. Staff was fantastic - so helpful and gave me a free boat pass and several breakfast vouchers. Unlimited bottled water. Highly recommend staying here!
