I liked that the property was cosy and clean. It’s a property with a rustic charm and is well decorated. I liked that there were outdoor areas like a front yard and backyard as well as a terrace.

It was a little hard to find on account of the fact that the English name is used online, but the Chinese name is more prominent on the small sign. (What a minor complaint!)

The property was cute and clean, had fruit included in the complimentary kitchen supplies, and I was exceptionally lucky in getting quiet roommates. I would definitely book again if I take another solo trip to Tainan. Also, the beds were comfy.

As I have known earlier about Taiwanese water closet waste pipe culture, we were not allowed to threw any toilet papers into the WC, it was somehow challenging for female travelers who's menstruating, but overall the bathroom cleanliness was great. (It will be great to have a hand spray bidet in the en-suite bath) The room can be a little damp and dusty, which may be an issue for travelers with skin and tracheal allergies, but considering this is an old renovated house, we didn't think it was a serious drawback and still worth the experience of staying in. (allergies are personal conditions)

Location is superb as it's hidden at the back alley yet still within walking distance to the main road and the surrounding neighborhood (interesting tourist spots). There are two Taiwanese authentic eatery just right front facing the main road, A-Jiang Eel Noodles, and Hu Xu Zhong Beef Noodles, they were right next to each other, do expect long queue at night. The overall vibes in the guest house was warm as the hosts and other travelers will greet each other friendly. Traveler who loves to experience genuine house stay should give it a try because the hosts definitely kept this place in good shape.

The design of the building allows ambient sounds to pass through easily, so you can hear your neighbors and they can hear you.

Since its in an alleyway, you don't get noise from the street. Location was great, staff was very helpful. It was clean, comfy and unique. Would definitely stay there again. They have a common kitchen and dining area downstairs which was nice.

maybe the price, but all accommodations are super expensive around Tainan so it was still okay, considering we had our own private room.

Tatami for beds was a cool experience. I also liked the atmosphere of the whole building. The staff was really friendly. It is right in the city center.

The guesthouse is amazing. the owners are the highlight part of this place. they are extremely helpful, sweet, and a good storyteller. They have couple of share area. really enjoy staying there than suck myself in bedroom. Excellent location. it is close to the Main Street while you can’t hear any noise. definitely will revisit.
