Most of the power outlets in my room were the 2 pin sockets. The only 2 that were 3 pin were: #1 in the bathroom, #2 unplug the TV. I went without the TV rather than charging my phone in the bathroom. The air-conditioning wouldn't stay on in heating mode for long, maybe 20 seconds at a time. It would then stop heating for a minute before turning on again. Not the best if you are visiting during Winter like I am.

Clean and comfortable room and bed. Toiletries included. The Japanese style toilet, that warm seat in Winter is nice. Quick elevator up and down.

The insulation between rooms could be improved

It was a pleasant surprise for us, as it seemed aged but the rooms are renovated and super confortable, the staff was very kind and helpful and the cleaning was spotless. Although the walls insulation was not great it didnt become a problem, I definitely recommend it

The hotel seems to be in need of a proper renovation. Even though it was clean, some facilities were (e.g. bathroom) were not that pleasant to use.

Check-in was easy and the room was much bigger than expected. Overall, the hotel is clean and offers all the necessary facilities. The location is good for exploring Taipei, it takes approx. 10-12min by foot to the next MRT station.

Beds were a little firm.

It was clean, rooms were cleaned every day with fun replacement of toiletries and other items. Windows could be opened to air out room. Bathroom good size. Japanese -style bidet toilet. Easy to find, easy to check in.

The room was rather small but the bed is comfortable. Location is very good with the metro nearby and with lots of restaurants in the vicinity.

The first subway train of morning is after 6:00 a.m. It might not be convenience to depart earlier. But I could get Taipei station by my foot around 20 minutes.

There are staffs who can speak Japanese language. One of them attended at the check out even though I need to leave early morning.

The staff showed us the notice in Japanese language even we talking with Mandarin 😅 Should provide with different language.

Fast response from Hotel to confirm our booking. Before arriving, We did expected this is an old hotel but surprisingly it's was clean n the 9th level we stay was renovated with all new furnitures. Hotel had offer welcome drinks can claim before check out. Neighbourhood nearby was friendly and the foods are tasty😊 If u like the less busy area, u could choose hotel around songjiang nan jing.

This hotel is on the older side. The utilities (e.g. bathtub, door lock) and facilities make it pretty obvious but they all worked well though. If you are a superstitious traveler, do note that this hotel lines the entire room and corridor with a bright red carpet. It does look a little creepy when you're alone at night and it's quiet. The staff at this hotel is not the most friendly. They offer great service but the professionalism does give off a colder vibe.

I love the location of this hotel! The bus stop is a couple of mins walk away and it leads to most night markets! The room was spacious and everything was clean. Wifi was a dedicated one and there were no disruption to connection. Great option for both families and business travellers.

Few subtle improvements could be done. For instance, some of decor and furniture in the room seemed bit dated. Same goes for the bathroom.

The air conditioning in my room did not work - it was 25.6~25.8 regardless of the setting chosen (cooling did not work). It seems that despite individual controls, the actual air conditioning is a central air system, and it was set to heating during my stay due to cool conditions outside. My room was so hot that I had to open the windows, allowing the noise of the city to make my sleep restless due to heat and to noise. A minor niggle, there was a dirty spot on the toilet. It was obviously a cleaning artifact due to liquid runoff and would not have been easily seen by the room staff at the time they prepared the room, but it was a bit gross.

The hotel is old and the lobby looks it, but the rooms were renovated and are basically the same as a modern business hotel in Japan. There was one bottle of water per person in the room (by beds), so in the case of a single person staying in a room like mine, there were three bottles of water. That was nice. The bed was comfortable enough, if a little too firm. The facilities were just fine in terms of presence.
