A luxurious hotel in Sun Moon Lake. It is definitely an older building but it has modern furnishings inside. The breakfast buffet was decent but had limited options (Taiwanese or basic Western). It's attached to Shuishe Pier so you can walk out for a beautiful view of the sunrise/sunset.

Their receptionists are multifaceted! The same person offers concierge services , bellboy, and room delivery service. Knowledgeable, warm hospitality offered to all the guests.

It seemed worn down. There had been water overflow on the floor from the shower I presume which damaged the bottom of some wall that had not been repaired. The bathtub has no shower head. The A/C unit was not very efficient. I had to manually adjust the louver grill to let a maximum of cool air flow out.

My room had a great view with a balcony facing the lake. Exceptional location. Quiet. Just next to the bus stop. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Beds were "harsh" and bouncy. Breakfast choices were uninspiring, particularly bread and coffee were quite disappointing.

No bar for pre-dinner drinks at the hotel They have a wine list in the restaurant, but none of the red wines listed were available - not even one!! Also none of the white wines, other than one random French one They had only beer, and then only 2 types

Breakfast was very good. Extensive selection and good quality Location is fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful Note: be sure to book a lake view room, otherwise you will be facing another hotel and noisy traffic

Face to lake beautiful scenery. Walk access to boat landing pier. Plentiful breakfast served in the breathtaking views dining room. Free bicycles to use. Short distance to lake bike trails. I stay at this hotel every time I visit Sun Moon Lake.

Sadly I pay a premium for Lakeview but the lake view is restricted. Would be happier they inform from Onset

I have a bad experience with the toilet bowl which doesn’t flush when I checked in. After calling the housekeeping, they gave me an unacceptable answer saying that we should hold the flush button long enough and it should flush and not to worry. Any issue to call them again. Finally on day 2 of our stay, when we call the housekeeping to come check again and during the housekeeping checks, the toilet overflow and the toilet water flow out. The problem could have been resolved if they have pumped it as it was already stuck after we first check in. The housekeeping staff asking us to throw the used toilet papers in the bin besides the toilet bowl is unhygienic. What kind of advice is that.

The aircon failed for the entire 9th floor and I was relocated to a cheaper room. the bed was of very cheap quality and we have to stack the comforter on top of the mattress to get some “ cushion” to have some decent sleep. The breakfast is not good at all , the food are cold and ordinary ( and it’s totally identical the next day ).

The location is great , near to eating , shopping and also facilities for biking or hiking trails. the bedroom balcony view is great as it’s directly in front of the lake.
