The owners were very friendly and went above the expectations with tea preparation and one evening they even took us to watch fireflies in their garden! The location is ok, a few hikes nearby but if you're looking for more restaurant options and proper mountains, the Alishan area might be better.

Great guesthouse with full board and tea tasting. We had dinner at arriving day and brekfest next day. The hosts charming couple of mature people invite you to tea tasting taken from the back of the house. highly recommend. Hight hospitality

The wifi wasn't really working and there was a light noise from some kind of ventilator / AC unit.

The location is great with a really beautiful view on the mountains. Also the owners, even though we didn't have any language in common, were really hospitable. The dinner was really good and local.

Location is quite good for exploring different hikes in the area. Unfortunately there are not a lot of restaurant options close by so best option is to eat at the hotel. The hotel is preparing food, so it’s always a surprise what you will get.

Very friendly owners, that unfortunately didn’t speak any English. They always welcomed us with tea. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and it was nice to have our own little balcony.

If you take bus 7315A to the property from Chiayi train station, make sure you wait at the right bus stop. It’s cross the road from Chiayi train station. Not the bus stop in front of Chiayi train station.

The owner Zhan papa & Zhan mama are super kind. Zhan papa picked me up from the bus stop due to the road work., and he made me a very tasting his own brewed Wulong tea. Zhan mama cooked delicious breakfast. The room is spacious with the mountain view. I enjoyed my 3 nights stay at the property.

The food might be OK for the locals, but... long story short, you are better off bringing your own. Also, the restaurants in the area are sparce and not significantly better. Great place to lose weight.

Very basic accommodation. Clean and comfortable enough. Best thing about it is that the shower is partitioned. The hosts are friendly and enthusiastic about showing you around.

Takes quite some time to have hot water for shower. Went during the winter. There is no warmer or air conditioner and it is very cold during the winter.

The environment. The owner's mum is a great cook, the meal was scrumptious. They plant their own veggie and they are very fresh. Breakfast is provided.

We were not expected so had to call the owners to come to the property. The room was freezing in December with no heating and no additional quilts. The bed was too hard.

Great location with stunning views over the mountains. Most helpful and friendly boss mama and papa. You can book a delicious home cooked breakfast and dinner! And of course you can try their own tee incl. tea ceremony.

A great experience. The owners are so friendly. You can see their tea plantation behind the house, and they serve you their tea at all times. (You can also buy a packet it you like). We slept very well, the room was very comfortable and clean. It is firefly season. They are everywhere just after sunset...it was a magical experience to see them.
