Host couldn't speak english, uses a translation app, which worked fine for us. We had to catch an early bus at 08:00, and breakfast wasn't available before 08:30. But there's a 7-11 open 24/7 in town to buy sandwiches and things like that. The host offered to drive us to the busstop in town. The hotel's location is a bit of a walk (15 minutes or so) from the main tourist area where the shops are

The place itself was a little dated but was very quaint. The pictures were accurate and the room was as we expected. The location was good and very easy walking to get into town. It was also great that they had parking. Breakfast was an unexpected assortment but was very tasty and nice to have lots of fruit provided with it.

The lake view from my room ‘s balcony was excellent. The breakfast was pretty good. The manager was friendly and helpful. After I checked out, he kindly offered me a ride to the bus station. I will certainly return to this place with my family in the near future.

Everything was above and beyond expectations. A great family homestay,3 generations of family that gave a warm welcome and all were very friendly for my 3 night stay. Great Husband and Wife team who were extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for picking me up and dropping me off at the bus station free of charge. Breakfast was the best in Taiwan! Super clean room,very comfortable,great nights sleep with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Lovely view from the balcony. Positioned directly on the lake,short walk alongside the lake to the town. Thank you for doing my laundry,exceptional service. If I had the time I would have extended my stay as it is the most beautiful part of Taiwan I have visited.

Sometimes the WiFi was slow.

The hotel is located right at the lake within 15 walking minutes to the visitors center (taking the bike path). The family made our stay very comfortable, they are super friendly and open-hearted. The breakfast was delicious and creative and they took good care of everyone’s wishes. The room was spacious and very clean, the balcony had a beautiful lake view and the whole place was quiet. We highly recommend staying here!

The family who’s running the hotel were friendly and helpful they help me as they can clean room good located hotel to the lake but bit far from restaurant shops in the small center of sun moon the owner take me back by his car with my luggage to the bus stop
