Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwitzerlandThere’s a problem with the relationship with the downstairs bar the weekend because it’s a very popular bar and it’s ownership is different but as the only functioning bar in the hotel, it should give the hotel guests some guarantee that they can get a table, but it’s always fully booked to outsiders. It’s very strange that a hotel bar cannot cater to its own hotel guests

AustraliaOne of the staff who works at the breakfast area was unfriendly which we find surprising considering all the staff was so friendly. Never greeted back when we say hi or thank you (which we did on separate occasions). But we did notice they were friendlier with Caucasians. The other staff member at the breakfast station was great though.
The staff was very helpful and welcoming. Always greeted us before leaving and when we return. Also upgraded one of our rooms as we wanted to be on the same floor which we appreciated. Honestly they made our stay better. Very comfy rooms, though some of the furniture could be updated (wear and tear). The location was in quiet neighbourhood, about 10mins walk to the metro. Will def stay here again if I visit Taipei.

Singapore1) Wish they would give us a choice of reusing towels - they were changed daily and need not be. 2) Wish they provide body lotion as well! Neither are deal breakers, of course.
It was the staff undoubtedly who made us feel welcome and comfortable. Rooms are new and spotless - loved the gizmos in the bathroom and the Nespresso machines and night tea in the room. The location in Da’an was good. Breakfast was decent and met our needs. Overall, happy to return here.
