The accommodation didn't quite meet our expectations given the prize we paid. It lacked things like hand soap, bathrobe, cleaning between two nights, and friendly staff (with the exception of one woman at the reception).

The view from the bedroom was great, we could see the lake and the harbor. The building is charming, with a huge bathroom. The location is great, just at the harbor, and you can be on the ferry in 2 and the cable cabins in 10 minutes. You can enjoy the street food, shops and restaurants right outside the door.

Not much to dislike except the toilets can not handle toilet paper and it must be placed in the bin next to the toilet. We found out the hard way how easy it was to cause a blockage 🥴

It's in a really good position, near the dock and the busy street market with lots of food stalls. Limited breakfast options but a good view from the breakfast room. Walking distance to the chairlift.

Having completed my stay. I have one word…Enchanting. This is the place to be. If you want to experience the culture and charm, this is it. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but step inside and you are surrounded by the Taiwanese culture. The location is perfect being right on the pier AND right in the action. You can get to every thing and it’s easy to get back. The rooms are huge and beautiful and clean. The beds were comfortable. I personally like softer pillows but my kids said they enjoyed their pillows. Breakfast is served on the seventh floor so toy enjoys views while delighting in a delicious breakfast. I really can’t say enough good things! The people are lovely and so kind. So happy to help and my only complaint is we didn’t stay longer 😂 We loved this hotel!!

The old smell in the hallways. The dehumidifier couldn't handle the smell. I think it may be because there's also cooking involved in the dining floor. Perhaps the exhaust is not good.

Hotel location was near the lake itself. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was big and comfortable, heater was incredible, and all the amenities were great. The staff was super friendly and nice.

The location, room, and service were all excellent. We had an incredibly comfortable stay. I highly recommend getting the room with the view of the lake-- the balcony was a lovely place to sit and sip some of their very good complimentary tea. I was very happy with my stay and would absolutely come back.

Great location in Ita Thao next to the pier. We had a balcony view towards the lake on the 5th floor which was splendid. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and much appreciated.
