Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe day we arrived the hotel had an infrastructure problem and there was no warm water until the morning after, which shouldn't happen at this level.
Spacious room and friendly staff. Very conviniently located near wanhua station.

United KingdomThe pool was lovely but could have done with more staffing - there was only one staff member and they didn’t really stop people from being noisy/splashing

FranceThe waiting at the elevators can really be long some days and you need to be very patient The fitness center is a joke for a hotel claiming to be of a certain rank : you have nothing to work on. You can cycle or run and that is it. And the swimming pool is really small and overcrowded because of it.
Rooms are Nice, staff is ok The location is very good, hotel being close to restaurants, MRT and a lot of places

JapanThe lights for the room are set up not right by the door but further in, so it was frustrating. The pool looked better in pictures, there was no nice view, the surrounding buildings blocked any sun, and there were only 7 chairs to sit on. They also made me but a swim cap to go in the pool, which I've never experienced before. Additionally, they close the pool for cleaning twice in the day so it's hard to schedule your swims. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel was very disappointing, the staff was not welcoming and the food was not tasty considering how expensive it was. They don't even serve water/tea without you paying for it.
The room was spacious and modern. The location was wonderful, very centrally and conveniently located. The lobby staff were all very helpful and kind.

NetherlandsMachine check in, no personal touch. Restaurant is quite expensive. But due to being further away from restaurants and night market sometimes it was the only option. We ordered a noodle, a spaghetti Bolognese and a fried rice and it was 900twd. Swimming pool is quite small and then also divided in 2 parts. Swimming cap is mandatory which we didn't bring. Elevators were slow and during peak time sometimes takes up to 10 min.
Everything was very clean and the staff greeted you with a smile. They do their best.

AustraliaReception staff are polite but it’s not a super personalized experience.
Big fully serviced hotel with all the amenities you need in a great location. If you’re just arriving in Taipei for the first time, it’s a great location as it’s not in the super busy thick of it and it allows you to ease into your trip. It’s very handy having wanhua station literally next door and then longshan station is less than 5 min walk away. Great food options in every direction, including Guanshou street night market for a smaller, more local experience than some of the bigger more touristy night markets. If it wasn’t so hot, I think it would be walking distance to the ximen area but definitely not when we stayed in July.

Taiwan1. Uopon stepping out of the elevator, I saw scraps on the carpet. The room has a fit of old smell that I experienced 20 years ago despite the refurbishment. 2. The front desk didn't want to solve my order until I called the booking.com. 3.When taking a shower, the room got very damp because, surprisingly, the exhaust vent was placed right behind the main entrance door (on the outside).

SingaporeSwimming cap is required to access and use the swimming pool. It is not complimentary and you need to go all the way down from level 8 to level 1 lobby to purchase the swimming cap. Suggest that it be made complimentary else convenience should be provided to the guests to purchase at the counter mend by a personnel at level 8 instead.
The room is clean with good ambience.

Second time staying here, love the size of the room and how there is a segregation between the sleeping and lounging areas. The views from the bathtub is also awesome. Location wise is superb too, a stone's throw away from the mrt and just next to the tra.
