The mattress in female dorm was not great. Barely any wifi in dorms on the 3rd floor (good in shared spaces). No towels.

The location is the best!! Staff speak perfect English which made it super easy. Shared kitchen facilities. Shared bathrooms were never cramped.

They wouldn't refund me the first night of my stay even though I couldn't get to Taichung because of a typhoon.

The hostel was in a good location with clean bathrooms and clean beds. I have no complaints.

The bunk beds move a lot and the mattress is very thin.

Good affordable hostel. The bathrooms were clean and empty at all times. The kitchen is well equipped and there's a 7-11 just across the street so you can have anything you need in no time, without spending a lot if money. The beds have curtains, which is perfect for privacy. Also you can get more pillows for free.

Not enough space to hang clothes at the showers, pretty tiny. Hot water takes too long to start.

Great stay. WiFi was good. There’s an elevator, washing & drying machines and you can also hang your wet clothes. There’s are 5 floors, we were 4 girls in the room, there were 4 showers and 2 toilets at my floor, a huge full body size mirror. There’s a nice kitchen with free tea, a TV and lots of seats. You can leave luggage before check-in. There’s a 7/11 in front of the entrance, very convenient. The area was good. You can sit on the roof if you’re waiting for laundry and theres a nice view. There are codes for the main entrance & each room so you don’t have to carry a key. Thank you 🥰

The staff was very helpful! It's easy to get around the hostel with just codes! The bathroom and shower were nice and clean. Sadly the bed/mattress was basically non existent and it felt like I am sleeping on the bedframe wood.

The price is expensive but it was the cheapest I could find- that’s Taiwan.

Location is excellent, staff are super helpful, there’s a place to meet others and a 7-11 across the road.

Very thin cheap mattress, you feel the wood through it. Not a firm mattress, just a flimsy one. Wooden bed creaks when you move. Not social, and no comfortable common area. No chairs to sit in room either. When cleaning, they air out the rooms with open doors, so the room is going to be open to everyone for hours. Shower/toilet open to hallway and mixed gender. 2 toilet and 4 showers, which are very small inside, not much space to keep things dry from splashes or to get dressed. And the moment you step out you are in the hallway with security cameras. Overall You just feel like going to the next family mart to chill instead. Doesn't feel comfortable.

Every box checked for a hostel. But no soul at all. Didn't feel very comfortable. So for a night it's okay.

The first night I was in a big room with a big window looking at the street. The street is quiet. The second night - that I booked directly with them - they moved me to a different room with a tiny window overlooking the inside patio.

Very good location. Closed to many attractions and to the train station. Clean. Comfy bed. Free tea and coffee. Big communal area. A tuned guitar.

Best thing about the hostel is the location: 10 mins away from the Taichung train station and other famous spots such as miyahara and second market. Right opposite a 711 too. Facilities are generally clean, defo value for money. Joined a free walking tour showcased on one of their posters, not organised by the hostel itself but the tour was AMAZING and would highly recommend
