Very clean. Staff was excellent, very helpful.

I had an amazing time at 白海民宿. The place is situated close by one of the beaches, and the room was spotless and well-equipped. The sea view from my room was even better than on the pictures. The owners were extremely hospitable with good English skills, and went out of their way to make sure that my stay was enjoyable. They even helped me rent a scooter to get around the island and recommended places to eat, it truly felt like a home away from home. Would definitely recommend, hope I can return one day!

I loved everything about this place! The couple that ran it were so welcoming and helpful they organised scooters for us to hire which was awesome. It was really cozy and relaxed and felt homely.

The bathroom was a tiny bit outdated, but that’s just a minor detail since the stay was overall great!

This inn is so clean! I'm very picky and kind of OCD so it was really nice to have a really clean place. It is well kept, especially in a place that is so humid. The rooms are bright and roomy, comfortable and well decorated. We had 2 rooms at the top floor with balconies and could see the ocean. They are on the pricier side for Xiao Liu Qiu, but we booked pretty late. In the room, there are small sofas and tables where we could put our things and sit comfortably. It was really nice to eat breakfast out on the balcony. There is no wardrobe, but there is a spot for hangers. The bathrooms are really cute too. The owner and staff were so nice and friendly! I loved the cats too. Even though I am allergic to cats, my eyes never got itchy which means the place is really clean. There were má hūa snacks (local snacks) and tea/coffee too, plus a water dispenser. Overall we felt very welcome. Right outside the building is a table for sitting outside, as well as a little area for washing off sand, which we did use a few times! Note, this place is closer to the center of the island, so a scooter is needed (we scootered around the entire island anyway), though it only takes a few minutes to find it, and it only takes a few minutes to scooter around the entire island. We would totally stay here again!

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was having to use slippers that were provided. I understand that using their slippers helps keep the place clean though! Personally, I don't like shared footwear, so inside the room I used my own slippers that I had brought.
