How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We have rent a car but there no parking. Hoteliers as us to park anywhere as long as at white line. Unfortunately white line is full of parking. No designated parking space can rent or pay overnight. Need to round 6-7 times before get the parking.
Room a big but the floor is cement. Look like unfinished room decoration. But the mattress are soft. A bit outside from crowd of the city

Advised property of our arrival time yet needed to phone to get staff to attend reception for check-in

The place could have been a bit cleaner, but the bed and the sheets were goo :). Also the room is very small (but that we knew when we booked so no problem) with just a very small window close to the ceiling.
Nice place very close to the railway station and bus station with the buses going to Taroko. Nice kitchen you can use, room was small but with everything we needed.

The personal can't speak English, but I was able to handle check in without them.
Everything was great, the place is near a railway station.

The light above the bed shines right in your eyes, and there’s no bedside lamp so it’s either that or nothing :( The mirror above the sink is hung a bit low, I couldn’t see my face haha! You can’t use the stove, unfortunately! Would have been good to know before. Although the steamer, microwave and oven work just fine as well:)
The room was tidy, with a comfortable bed and shower! Also the patio and kitchen were cute and aesthetic, and the people are friendly!

Front desk not always staffed (also during check-in hours). Location is far from the mainstreet, for going out a busride de best option.
Nice room and bathroom. Convenant location near the station.

Bed was firm which I do not mind but it was lumpy. A foam cover could have helped. Also a rooster was screaming from 4-6am. Soundproofing was non existent
Cute entryway. Nice shower separate from toilet. Little kitchen was nice, too.

The only downside was the bed. We could feel the springs in the mattress, it was uncomfortable.
Close to the train station, nice and clean. Very nice staff, spacious room, clean bathroom with good water pressure and temperature. The decor is very fun For the price, it's a very convenient place

Slightly further away from station but 10min walk is not too bad
Big room with a fridge, water, tea, hairdryer. Design of the bed frame is also pretty interesting.

Especially the bathroom was a bit dirty. Also, a bit more space for our luggage would have been nice.
The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked very well and it was quiet. We also liked the outdoor area.

Amazing location, room was clean, comfortable and affordable. Self check-in allowed, perfect for late night arrival. Shower pressure was fantastic. Table, chair and even a mini fridge provided as well.

Lots of rooms are windowless. Not for the claustrophobic. Even the windowed rooms have tiny windows up high. The coffee machine doesn’t work but is there to just bait you into messing with it.
Colourful with a “international bohemian” vibe. Clean. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Large kitchen with hot water/cool water dispenser.
