Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Initially couldn’t find the entrance to the main reception as directions were not clear.
The 3-bedroom apartment was very clean and well managed. Good location to Taipei Train station and buses nearby. Linked to a mall which was very useful.

It was a bit confusing to get to the address with signs outside but we found it after looking for a while. The facility is kinda old and the mattresses don’t have enough support.
The receiving ladies showed us the facility around. They respond to our questions on WhatsApp immediately which is very helpful. The location is on the opposed side of the main station of Taipei which is very convenient to get around. There are also tons of restaurants and shopping places in the building.

Nothing. Maybe the decor is a bit dated but the apartment is clean n well maintained.
Excellent location on top of a big mall and besides Taipei Station. Staff are helpful n very responsive. The apartment has all the facilities, including a washing machine microwave toaster, 3 rooms n 2 baths perfect for my family of 3.

The entry to the resident building is not that obvious. Check-in need to call the staffs to escore you to the reception.
The location is very good. Easy to go to the bus station , train station or MRT station. Also very easy to get to the meeting point if you book any one-day tour. The room is full equipped with all the living appliances needed. There is even washing machine. The room is quite spacious.

This is service apartment and the receipt is at fifth floor.. have to make phone call the receptionist to come down to bring u up. Luckily the security is friendly enough to offer the help to call for us

Too early to cut off the WiFi. We checked out at 8:15am but the WiFi was cut off at 7am.
excellent location, right next to Taipei Bus Station and train/high speed rail station. You cannot expect a more convenient location in Taipei. Walking distance to Ningxia night market . A lot of dishes right below the apartment as it is above a shopping centre.

The property should provide clear instructions on how to get to the property. The entrance is unnoticeable inside the mall with no signs of AJ Residence. It took us a while to figure it out. The front desk is on 5th floor. We need to call the receptionist to come down to bring us up. The property should definitely inform the guests in advance such procedures.
Good location. We rented a 2-bedroom unit. It was very spacious and clean.

Hard to navigate thru the mall to the entrance. They need printed instructions in english and mandarin.
Location was great. The bathroom heated toilet, bidet, shower and toiletries all great. Giant TVs. Right on top of a huge mall and the metro.

Had difficulty locating the premises when we arrive because we were looking for AJ Residence and there’s no indication for that.
Breakfast is easily available around the property, located at the Main Station is the plus point

Though we're at 15F, the car noise from the streets is a bit annoying to my family. I recommend thinking about it if you're sensitive to noise during the night. It is not straightforward to catch the earliest Airport MRT, it took me an hour to figure out the opening hours of doors, escalators, and elevators to the airport MRT station a day before our flight. Still, this is not an issue of the hotel, just a reminder for travelers.
It is a fantastic experience, a clean and well-maintained property, and at a perfect location. My family loves it and definitely will come back next time. We also like having a kitchen to prepare our breakfast. The hotel host was so kind to celebrate the mid-autumn festival with us.

Finding the address was not straight forward. It was in the booking réservation. The adresse on the property page is not exact
Staff was very helpful and communication via LINE was great. Anything was answered quickly. The rooms are big, modern and with lots of free pluses. The location is great, with direct access into a mall with food court and grocery store. You can also access the météo system directly via underground mals.

Lots of elevator transfers to get up to the apartment, but that’s the nature of the building. A little more expensive than we planned on.
Property was clean and as advertised. It was enough space and comfortable for our stay.

it was required to take an elevator to the 5/F first and then another one from 5/F to other floors. it was a bit inconvenient but that was how the structure was built.
