Great 👍...I got my knee injured and there was no pharmacy around Sun Moon Lake so they arranged for people to bring me to the pharmacy which is in the town. Thanks a lot and really appreciated it.

Unable to contact any staff after check in. We are much left on our own. Toilet is small. Can’t get any gd food around the vicinity

Location is great. Super convenient and close to the transportation hub. The shower was also spacious and very comfortable.

I booked two rooms: one with two beds and a view of the Sun Moon Lake parking lot, and the other with one bed and a view of the lake. Both rooms were similar in size and price, but I felt the two-bed room was overpriced compared to the lake-view room, which seemed undercharged. In my 2 bed room, I found a small dead cockroach in the bathroom upon check in. On the second day, I spotted another one. Not what you’d expect during a two-night stay. The pantry on the 2nd floor had a coffee machine, it didn’t work, and there were no clean coffee mugs available.

The location is great. Walkable from the train station and proximate to the ferry port. Nice comfortable beds.

There is no reception area 24/7 but you can actually call them in their number if there is an emergency. The shower heater was not functioning property one night we arrived, and we had to call the number given and a staff went to our room to fix it. Shower has no partition or shower curtains so there is a tendency for water to splash all over the bathroom.

Huge room with a lovely lake view, right in the centre of the Shiushe pier area. Easy to get around, easy to find. Friendly staff

Awesome view, extremely close to the pier and to the food premises (though granted Shuishe pier area is not that big to start). The room was really big; there’s even a sofa in the room apart from the bed. The staff attending to us was extremely helpful, giving us advices on where to go, how to go etc. Also help to facilitate our checkout requirements when we made last minute changes to our itinerary.

Locating it at the start was difficult; it’s tucked at a corner of the building shared with an eatery beside it so we missed it twice while walking through the lane to locate the property. A picture to guide to the property might work. On the steeper end in terms of pricing but I think it’s probably about the same for the properties around sun moon lake. Apart from that, some of the rooms have beds on bed frame and some on the floor (tatami styled). My parents didn’t want the room with the bed on the floor as it was difficult for them to get up. So be sure to check what kind of room you’re getting

Liked the location . Absolutely next to the ferry pier. There are two population centres in this Lake district. Shuishe and itashao. Mine was shuise and the ferry pier was just opp my hotel. Bike shops restaurants and cheap souvenir shops all in thr same road and two 7/11s within 200 metres

The staffs language of English is very poor. There is one lady Mrs wong who no doubt tries a lot to explain using translator.
