Not a big deal but the bug situation in the master bathroom was a bit intense up the sink. For those shorter the bed is a tad high, and we had a couple fans that didn't work. Not that we let it stop our fun, just took a while to cool down when no breeze. More umbrellas in the back or a retractable awning would be amazing for the pool area.

Second stay here and it was just a relaxing and fun as before with lots of great memories. The pool is so refreshing, the bed comfy, well stocked and so close to what you need but also far enough away to feel at peace. I love being able to rush down the hill to local bars and the beaches are so close. The view in the morning is of dreams. Instructions are clear and fair, staff communicative and very friendly, accommodating and flexible. This stay has become a tradition & a favorite of mine in years to come.

We had some minor issues with the Jacuzzi however the La Jolie team were very quick to respond and immediately sorted the issue for us.

This property was amazing! It allowed for our extended family of 6 to have ample room to enjoy each others company as well as some privacy when needed. Exceptionally well set up and the living area open plan onto the pool was a definite winner. We will definitely be staying here again. Loved it!!

La Jolie was walking distance to the grocery, beach and an ice cream shop with delicious choices! But…the walk back up the hill to the house was quite a workout! But the views from the top of the hill were worth it! The house had everything you could possibly need too! Very clean and comfortable!

Fantastic location in a haven of serenity and an absolutely breathtaking panoramic view of the sea/reef. Clean, spacious, well-equipped and luxurious Villa. Easy walk down the hill to bars/ restaurants/ beaches… no need to drive. If in need of any assistance, the agent/ Nicolas is readily available. Team was very professional.

Lots of space and true to the pictures. The staff took care of any issues quickly so we weren't inconvienenced at all. The kitchen had all the appliances and enough utensils for the group. Lots of extra towels were a plus!

Its location is also great. I have been to the island several times. I also recommend the villa to those who like a good view and meaningful rest. In the middle there are shops, restaurants and the beach at an arm's length.

The owner and manager are also kind and helpful. They immediately took care of anything we asked for help with.

I wish there was air conditioning in the living room downstairs communal space. But it's a large area. All bedrooms were fully air conditioned. I also wish there was a hook above each bed for me to hang my mosquito net.

The house is amazing. Great location if you have a car. Also not too far to walk to the beach and shops/food places. The rooms are all amazing. All rooms have great views with nice bathrooms. The house also has great facilities for everything you need. Kitchen equipment and conveniences etc. We absolutely loved it here!

The internet went down island-wide but was restored later that evening. However, no internet in the villa until a few hours before we left. This resulted in having to pay a significant amount for calls back to the UK.

If I have to split hairs, I would say a smart tv would be nice for guests to use since cable can be knocked out during the rainy season.

This property is a beautifully hidden gem in the heart of the coastal Black Rock community. The open airy feel of the house is complimented by it’s breathtaking view of the ocean and surrounding area. The cleanliness of the house and swimming pool cannot be overstated. The security fence provides an additional level of comfort that I didn’t expect. Just. wonderful experience.
