Nice cosy cabin. Lovely garden to the rear. Not sure how safe it was to walk from the river to beach so we didn’t. Breakfast was lovely.

I think if the grass was maintained and kept very low, the place would appear MORE magical....the breakfast menu organisation's I felt is not very user friendly and limited for a beeakfast inclusive...but tasted quite well!

There was a young lady working on the evening of the 2nd august to the morning of August 3rd....exceptional service! Makes your stay so warm and exciting!

In the night the mosquitoes were a bit overwhelming, i would recommend walking with a insecticide or fly zapper.

The cabin was very well put together and the dinner and breakfast was excellent. The walk to the beach was short which was good and the staff was very friendly. Also the cabin i stayed in was air conditioned so that was a plus.

There is room for improvement that can defiantly improve the experience for guest. the Path to beach needs better lighting and repairs. I would also recommend a jetty in the river with kayaks to use.

It was a particularly hot time in Trinidad even for locals. More fans and cold water freely given would have helped. Some staff were a bit too ‘off handed’.

The breakfast was good but not filling (options are limited). The room and toilet need more attention (there was a spider web under the side table).

Special looking hotel with a beautiful garden. We booked this hotel in April just to go and see the leatherback turtles in the nesting season. We had a comfortable stay. Employees were very friendly. Not being able to swim off the beach. Very rough water. A long drive from Port-of-Spain. The power outage. Limited bar. Dinner has to be ordered ahead for a fixed seating time.

Rustic buildings in a rural location. Very peaceful and quiet. No TV. The seclusion. Breakfast and Dinner menus are narrow but the quality of the food is exceptional. Not a crowded facility. Close to the beach.

The breakfast was good. The dinner offering though tasty lacked variety except for the meat , the vegetables and cabs were the exact same regardless of the dish. After three days could become boring, Should reflect more local dishes especially to expose foreign guests to local cuisine

I liked everything about the property but I feel there could have been more information on the website and on arrival about the various tours and sights. I missed out on seeing the Pawi birds (should be separate from a general bird watching tour) and on the cocoa/ local chocolate making tour (which was only on certain days) as I did not know about them and did not feature them into my plans/ time there.

The location in general and location to the beach was very good. The decor of the room was beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The veranda was a lovely addition to the comfort of the room.

Lighting really poor ..also there were only a few available outlets ..I would say upkeep of the facility wasn't there especially for being there a third time I feel like it deteriorated over time

The walkway to beach & the ladder to the upper bed area was extremely dangerous. No railings to hold on to. Information was not given accordingly.

Breakfast was tasty staff were friendly. However for a resort there was only a track to reach by the beach which we had to pass by people House. The surroundings were beautiful but there was hardly any lighting to sit outside
