Really nice and cosy hotel with a stunning terrace overlooking the city and hot air balloons. Tasty Turkish breakfast, great location near viewpoints. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The shower didn’t work properly, once you opened it, it moved everywhere. Good water pressure but the shower tube was broken.

First and foremost the staff was very professional and welcoming. They helped us booking balloon ride in best prices . Hotel is very clean and location is superb. Breakfast had very healthy options. Location wise it’s in prime area for balloon sights and pictography.

We were greeted by our lovely host Ali, who helped us book last minute tours, hot air balloon, horse riding and Turkish night entertainment. He was lovely and very friendly. The hotel was clean, in a great location with an exceptional roof where we got to see the hot air balloons at sunrise. Nothing to fault.

Absolutely Fantastic Stay! I recently stayed at Virtus Cappadocia hotel gerome — whichever name you go by, the quality remains top-notch!), and I must say, everything was beyond expectations. The breakfast was absolutely amazing — fresh, delicious, and with a great variety that made every morning a treat. The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. What stood out most was the breathtaking view from the hotel — a true highlight that added so much to the experience. Whether you’re here to relax or explore, this place has the perfect vibe. Nothing - the stay was perfect.

A great family run hotel located in one of the best locations in Goreme - the views from the rooftop terrace were exceptional, both during the day and at night. The hotel has it's own approach road which means it's very quiet, especially after dark. A short walk of less than 90 seconds however and you will find yourself in the town centre. The staff could not have been more friendly, and that goes for every one of them - a great team ! The hotel itself is full of character and feels almost 'alpine'. It's very clean, the beds were comfortable and breakfast on the terrace was a delight. I would definitely stay here again should I find myself back in Goreme.

It is very good hotel for the money. The breakfast was very good with various dishes. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The view of balloons from the terrace was spectacular. We highly recommend this hotel.

There is not much to dislike about this property and its service, however, there would be a few recommendations, which I would like to share with the owner. Firstly, the bathroom had a bad sewerage odor and we just moved the trash bin over the vent on floor to stop that odor from spreading. These lines should be checked and cleared soon. Secondly, before coming to the property, I sent them a message asking if they accept card payment. They said in their reply that they do but did not mention anything about a 3% charge with card payment. When I arrived at the property, it was late (e.g. almost 1 am), so at first the reception guy Ali told us they receive cash payment only, when I told him I asked the property before coming here, he said then a 3% charge would be added with card payment. I believe these communications should be clear in advance before coming to the property and from their end. Adding intercom phones to communicate with the reception should be introduced and checkout time could be extended to 12 pm. I found lack of professionalism from the receptionist person Ali’s part as I feel he tries to throw sarcasm at customers unnecessarily, which did not make sense sometimes. Maybe the guy has been working very hard day/night and needs a break. Lastly, the property is very far from the Kayseri airport (it takes more than an hour to reach) and it offers shuttle service too (550 TL per pax). You could take that instead of taking a taxi from the airport, as taxis may not be a good option there. However, I would recommend the tourists to use Klook shared shuttle service (for both inbound/outbound), which is much cheaper than these are and the service was very good.

Virtus Hotel is a good option for you to stay in Cappadocia for a couple of days or more. The property is located near the bazar where you would find varieties of shops, convenient store, travel agency office and dining options. The property is somewhat outdated but I guess most of the properties in Cappadocia are like that. The Budget Double Room appeared a bit congested for our four luggage (two large and two cabin), so I guess we miscalculated the room size which was 18 m²) in total with the bathroom. The bathroom was good and spacious and they have one of the best showers I have ever experienced. It was really cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was complimentary with the room, they have varieties of items in the breakfast, and you could have a heavy breakfast. The dining is located on the roof where you have a beautiful sitting area to enjoy the spectacular views of valleys of Cappadocia and have tea/coffee/smoke. There is also a small roof (carpet area) above the main roof where you could sit, and have outstanding pictures with hot air balloons in the background. Bed was comfortable; however, pillows seemed a bit high and thick that could give you a neck issue. The wardrobe door came out loose in the night we arrived but the reception person Ali took care of the matter the next day. The technician who came was not good in his work, so the manager had to step in and replace the door connector with a new one that was really appreciating from his part.

Nothing really aside from one case that the cleaning lady banged on my door to ask if I wanted cleaning, i woke up from my sleep but seeing as there are placards you could place outside if you wanted cleaning so i dare say it was not really necessary to do it, but I voiced out my concern to Ali and made note of it and apologised so it’s fine.

I spent my birthday with a first time solo travelling abroad and I thought it would be sad but it was awesome!! my stay here was definitely a big factor!!! Thank you virtus! The ROOF TOP IS AMAZING! I love the vibes in the rooftop more so at night! I love the vibes when youre having a breakfast there! It was midsummer and warm but i love the breeze on rooftop! I would like to commend, Ali, the night receptionist! He’s went beyond and over for me seeing as Im a solo traveler. I had a creep situation with a taxi driver and he assured my safety. He was also very helpful with recommendations and activities, quite fluent with english (a plus+++). We became friends to the point he even knocked on my door to make sure I get breakfast and don’t oversleep when he was on the way to breakfast as well. The breakfast ladies were also nice and superb! I was not expecting much from the room but It felt fancy! It had all the facilities one would need! I love the vibe of the room and shower. I had a nice view of the mountains in the window. They gave kits and water every day and cleaned my room. I love how wide their breakfast buffet is (even had non turkish food choices).
