Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Algeria*I had to pay for water *One young man who received me when I arrived and who works at the reception was rude. *Housekeeping was poor. *The bed was uncomfortable and the sun bothered me in the morning as there are curtains that barely block the sunlight. *The vibe of the hotel is depressing.

Public transport was at a walking distance, bus stop is very nearby which can be taken to reach any place within Istanbul. Tram was at 10mins walking distance which is a plus.

United KingdomI checked into my room, only to find I did not have a working toilet. The flush was completely broken. I raised this to management, who told me they would fix it. They then told me they can’t fix it. I asked for another room. No rooms available. Management then had the audacity to tell me that they will provide a bucket for me to use for the toilet flush. I raised a complaint about not providing a working toilet, and the most they wanted to offer me was one ‘free coffee’. Management was very unhelpful with even trying to discuss a refund for subsequent nights. I left on the first night. Completely unacceptable and no care about the customer experience and basics like a working toilet to which free coffee was the solution. Do not stay at this hotel.

United KingdomWe did not stay at the Tugra, it was awful and they had not reserved a superior double room for us. The staff said its ok, stay in the triple bedroom till morning and we will give you what ever you want in the morning. In the morning the only room available was tiny and dingy. I asked why a superior double room wasn't reserved for us, I mean we paid for it, the reception man in the morning said that if we didn't like what we had to offer, then we could check out. I requested to reduce the price since this rooms he had were not what we reserved, but he said no and only gave the option to leave the hotel. I was very disappointed.
