How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Parking might be tricky for some drivers zince it has quite narrow driveways.
Spectacular views from different rooms of the hotel, good breakfast and friendly staff. Hotel's own parking with no need to leave a key with a car.

The place is very good, clean. The stuff is always helpful and supportive. What's more, the breakfast is amazing, we didn't expect such delicious food for our first breakfast in Turkey, but it brought us energy and good vibes for all day!!!

The hotel staff's only concern is the guest's comfort. We arrived early in the morning and were admitted at 10:00 AM. Free parking is available under the hotel, which is convenient and convenient. The hotel is ideally located for those looking for a starting point for Bursa, Sapanca, and Üsküdar. It is close to the sea and a large market, a 5-minute drive away. It is also close to Viaport, which features rides, an aquarium, restaurants, and an outlet market. I would like to thank all the staff for help and support they provided to me during my 6 days stay.

Always happy to stay at Grand Mira. They kindly upgraded me to a seaview room. Superb breakfast with the complete Turkish breakfast including fresh parsley and basil leaves. I like the area very much, with walks along the sea promenade, the cheap and cheerful fish restaurants around the fish market, lots of pubs and mehanas, and excellent kebab restaurants.

It was very good hotel. It has everything to feel comfortable. everything was very clean, delicious breakfast with lots of options and the best staff, especially Mr. Sadik who helped us many times and was always ready to help.In conclusion everything was good in this hotel and I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel.

the only weak point (which is not unusual in Istanbul) was the noise of the trains passing by the Hotel
The room was very clean and with good facility. I had a sea-view room. In the morning, the view of the sea and the birds and the ships was very romantic and beautiful.

Poor noise isolation - I cam hear other visitors, who live on same floor, talking on phone. Also there's railway noise. Bad smell in bathroom, very poor ventilation in bathroom. Almost no English channels on TV.
Very good and delicious breakfast, easy check in and check out procedure, rooms are clean.
