The area it was in was great for punlic transportation and close to a lot of great restaurants and shopping.

Very good position to visit Sultanahmet, 5 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque! The host is very friendly and always available to give you any suggestions you need. The room is clean and comfortable.

Charming hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet, within walking distance of main attractions and surrounded by a variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops. Our room was small but had all the comforts including aircon, a fridge and a very good shower. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and made us feel at home.

We had a wonderful stay! The service was excellent and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is great as well, 10 mn walk from the blue Mosque. If we come back to Istanbul, we will definitely stay here again. A special thanks to our hosts — especially Arslan — who were truly exceptional and did everything to feel welcome. Thank you for everything!

Close your eyes, stop thinking much, no need to search other optons - just book this hotel straight away. What do you need when you are travelling with family and kids? Clean rooms, friendly accomodating staff, 24/7 Food and grocery availibility at door step, Fast internet connection, all basic facilities, high pressure warm and cold water to get freshen up and flexible support from the desk regarding check in, check out, transport arrangement etc - This is all you will get here. Location is excellent with everything nearby. The cornish is at few steps walk. There is not a single thing that bothered my stay with kids. Excellent experience.

The stuff of the hotel was great, thanks a lot to Alper for being so kind and helpful and making such a nice coffee:) He saved my day couple of times! Location is great, hotel is quite cozy, a lot of restaurants around :)

Wonderful hotel with exceptionally courteous and help well staff specially Alper and Arsalan who made my stay very memorable

Best location ever. Easy walk to all main attractions. Good kebab shop and small corner shop 60 metres away where we bought some snacks and had them on the balcony of Level 4

Basic rooms are small but we knew that and was just a bed for sleeping as we were out most of the day

The room was nice, Arslan the receptionist is very friendly and always ready to help asap with no matter what. The location of the hotel was perfect! It was very clean and you can enjoy the sea view from the rooftop Terrace. Would book again!

Beds are smaller than 180cm but not a big deal :)

The staff went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt valued and well taken care of. In particular, I would like to highlight the outstanding help I received from Arslan. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Arslan provided invaluable assistance with navigating the city, explaining the unique features of each district, and helping me shape a meaningful and enjoyable cultural program. Thanks to him, I was able to experience Istanbul not just as a tourist, but with a deeper understanding and appreciation of its history and charm. I highly recommend the Camelot Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. It’s a place where you can relax, feel at home, and receive world-class service. I will definitely return!

Not much items like kettles, tooth brush or tooth paste. They do give shampoo and soap though so that’s a plus

Location

We stayed at this hotel — overall it was okay, but there are some things to be aware of. The location is great: just a 5-minute walk to all the main attractions. The area is quiet, with no noisy roads nearby, and there are plenty of small grocery shops around. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Arslan — he assisted with check-in and answered all our questions. The room was clean, warm, and housekeeping was done well. On the downside, we originally booked an economy room, but it turned out to have a window facing a sort of back yard with a wall, and it smelled strange — there seemed to be chickens kept there. It wasn’t very comfortable, so we ended up paying extra to move to a better room. That was definitely a drawback. All in all, if you're looking for a budget-friendly place and just need a room to sleep in while spending your day exploring the city, it’s acceptable. But don’t expect anything fancy.

Location is very convenient, as it is near to Hagia sophia and blue mosque.

Stay was great, just to add basic amenities like tooth brush and paste to the toiletries.
