Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. AustraliaBooking.com offered airport transfers included but then made it impossible to get these transfers which meant we were stranded at the airport on arrival. The airport is more than 1 hour drive from the hotel. Hotel staff made arrangements after I contacted them directly. NB If airport transfers are included in your deal then make sure you know they are organised well before you travel. If you booked with booking.com then the airport transfer is an arrangement directly with booking.com and NOT with the hotel.
Location is great. Old city hotel location is walking distance to all major attractions and on the main tram route. Room was small but clean and air-conditioned. We stayed in summer with 34C weather which meant aircon is essential. Roof top terrace is a great place for included breakfast and one of the nicest places we found for drinks or a meal. Prices for rooftop restaurant Mezze360 are reasonable and food and service is excellent. Staff were super helpful when Booking.com let us down over airport transfer.

OmanI stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The room was small, but clean and tidy. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the historical Sultan Ahmed area, and close to tram and train stations. The restaurant staff were very nice and helpful, especially Ali. Very good value for money.

RomaniaI had a special request, a mini cake for my mother who was celebrating her birthday. I received the cake with a candle for free brought by a waiter at breakfast. Mehmet, from the reception, a 10. He served us coffee, cappuccino, cold water at the reception throughout our stay and upon departure, even though we had rented a taxi not from the hotel, he stayed with us, kept calling and insisting until the car arrived, which was quite late. Thank you, Mehmet!

Very friendly staff and exceptional breakfast location and rooftop restaurant. Especially Ali and his team up at the rooftop were stellar and provided amazing service while being ever friendly. Spectacular view from up there as well, plus the location of the hotel in general is obviously great and right next to both the Sirkeci and Gulhane stations.

AustraliaThe Seres Hotel is a gem in the heart of the Old City. Rooms are small but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Staff are genuinely friendly and accommodating. The rooftop dining area is a real highlight with amazing views across to the Bosphorus. Breakfast selection is excellent. Dinner, although on the pricey side was also good. The location is brilliant, within an easy walk of many of the major historical sites and attractions.
