The big hill going down up and down to the hotel.

The location was great if you don't want to be in a very busy location and still close to everything, the room was beautiful. The staff where kind enough to upgrade us as the room I had booked was 3 floors down and we had a lot of luggage that would've been hard to take down. They where helpful in organising our activities. Highly recommend.

The location was very difficult for the cabs to come and they dropped a little further which was uphill and not very convenient.

The host Ms. Hamide and her team were exceptionally courteous, warm and welcoming. Very comfy and neat stay with an amazing breakfast menu.

This was a great stay, the room with the hottub was perfect, super cool and comfy. The staff were really kind and helpful. They prepared an amazing vegan breakfast for us, even though we forgot to give them notice. Would love to stay there again.

The lady who escorted us to the room , looks like she also looks after the meals wa super sweet… she made us feel like home .. we cancelled our tours just a day before the tour date and she she cancelled it with a full refund and with a big smile on her face … she even booked us a personal tour fully customised according to our needs … the breakfast is delicious… the room was amazing … loved every minute of our stay… she also arranged hot air balloon at the best possible rates .. we spend half of what we have thought we would spend on the activity… highly recommended

Hamida was an excellent host and was very warm and welcoming. She and her team made sure we were comfortable and supported our entire stay in the hotel. She also personally helped in making an itinerary for the day in Cappadocia. The food service was amazing and they inculcated our requests as well with by far the best Turkish food I had on the trip being a vegetarian.

That we had to leave.

I have to begin by thanking the hotel's staff, they are the biggest ones to thank for our stay. They were always available for a chat, they gave us excellent local recommendations and even helped us booking our balloon flights, making everything hassle free. We also requested their help at late hours, yet they were always there to help with a smile. Having said that, the hotels location is excellent, literally meters away from the city center (although there is a steep road up to the town center) and our rooms were amazing, they literally left us speechless. We even had to make videos of them to share with family.

The staff at Serenus is so warm. The manager was super responsive pre check-in and she helped us plan our stay in Cappadocia. The breakfast was unexpectedly amazing for a boutique hotel. A must visit!

There is only one thing as the rest was just amazing! Sadly the dogs in the neighbourhoods barked during the night so that it was hard to sleep through

We loved our stay in Serenus! The staff was unbelievable helpful and kind which brought us a lot of positive energy every day! We loved the location as it was not as Göreme so we were able to relax on the most beautiful roof terrace! Especially the hot tub created the most dreamy atmosphere! Superlative view of the Ortahisar castle and the surroundings from the terraces. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and unmatchable window views as well. While ideally situated in the heart of Cappadocia, Ortahisar is quiet and has a more traditional feel than Goreme or Urgup. A minor inconvenience was handled immediately by the staff, who offered us a free room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated. Great value for money, highly recommended!

I want to share with my best hotel experience. Even though I have a quite extensive traveling background, “Serenus Cave Suits” in Cappadocia is going to occupy the top place in my list of hotels. I stayed there for a few days. I came here to change the usual pattern of my birthday celebration and it was worth it. Stepping through the gates of the hotel, I was immediately fascinated by the beautiful and incredible view of the building enclosed in the mountain. This is a kind of family hotel, and as the owner told me, it took a lot of time to transform and renovate the family nest into the hotel. The owners made the design of the place using their own imagination and you feel it because even a tiny space was made with great love and care of the guests. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly, and extremely helpful. They always greeted and smiled at us making our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfasts in the style of “Turkish breakfast” were amazing and the dinner the staff organized for my birthday was delicious and healthy. To make my day they presented me a cake we shared with the owners and some staff members. We talked, drank nice Turkish tea and I had the feeling of being at home with my family and friends. The location of the hotel is great and from my window, there was a fantastic view. My room was not only perfectly decorated and super cozy but well equipped with all essentials and a Turkish bath. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for tourists who want to feel at the hotel as they are at home. I wish to come to this place again!!!

the parking lot was a bit problematic for us

The staff was excellent; they did their best to make us feel comfortable and at home. Once they found out I was a vegan, they prepared a vegan breakfast for me. The Effort is much appreciated. Thanks for everything!
