There are a lot of stairs if you stay on the second floor. The pool is underground if you are claustrophobic.

From the moment I arrived at The Sacred House in Ürgüp, Gonal and Sinam made me feel like I was stepping into another world. Gonal was incredibly attentive from start to finish. He personally guided me through the hotel as if it were a museum, and in many ways, it was. Every corner of the property is filled with mind-blowing artifacts and imaginative design elements that make this cave hotel truly one-of-a-kind. Gonal went above and beyond to ensure my stay was unforgettable. He was always available to offer advice and expertly directed me to the most memorable experiences in Cappadocia. One highlight was the Turkish night he arranged for me - an immersive evening of authentic cuisine and rich cultural performances that I’ll never forget. I especially appreciated the detailed room tour. Gonal’s pride in the space and his attention to every feature elevated the experience to something truly extraordinary. This level of personalized service is rare and deeply appreciated. Saying goodbye to Gonal and Sinam was genuinely bittersweet. They made my time in Ürgüp incredibly special. Absolutely one of the most stunning hotels I’ve stayed in! It’s more than a hotel… it is unique and impressive in so many ways. I felt I’d entered through the front doors in to another time and place. The staff were very helpful, kind and thoughtful. My room, Fairies Nest was divine, I felt I was sleeping in a decadent castle. The swimming pool was so beautiful and warm I didn’t want to leave. I loved every moment of my stay. I hope to return one day!

Sacred House is easily one of the most unique and best hotels we’ve ever stayed at—perhaps even our number one in terms of uniqueness! Everything was absolutely perfect, exactly as expected, and the entire experience was mind-blowing. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel at home. They assisted with parking, ensured a smooth check-in, and gave us a fantastic introduction to the hotel and our room. The sacred, old-royal ambiance throughout the property is truly mesmerizing. A special highlight is the Blood Pool, our absolute favorite feature, offering a truly unique experience with free access to the sauna and hammam bath. Our second favorite was the amazing breakfast, and lastly, the indoor bar and garden, which added even more charm to our stay. If you're looking for a truly unique stay in Cappadocia, this is the place. Plus, it’s just a short walk to Ürgüp city center, making everything easily accessible. Incredible value for money—highly recommended!

The place is absolutely enchanting; it transports you to another world. History, magic, and beauty all come together. I can’t quite put it into words, but it’s truly an extraordinary experience.

Loved the theme of the hotel, the staff were amazing and friendly. Enjoyed the welcome drink/cake, being shown around and given some history of the making of the hotel. The Turkish breakfast included was excellent and took us a couple of hours to eat it all. A fire in our sanctuary suite elevated our comfort level. Enjoyed the pool and the sauna.

The bathroom is very nice but the bathtub is a little impractical, could do with some more handrails and a more accessible table to reach amenities without flooding the bathroom.

Very unique hotel in a great location. Staff were excellent and helpful at all times. Breakfast was outstanding with a huge selection and very tasty. Parking was as a valet service which was incredibly helpful.

For the price I'd prefer a more formally trained spa service. I received two massages and would rate the value as half of the price. Spa was still amazing and a must see.

I adored these properties! Stayed at both the one in Goreme and Urgup and would recommend both to anyone. A true highlight of our time in Turkey - the staff were incredible, the ambiance and property makes you feel like a royal, and the food and drinks were amazing.

This hotel is amazing! Story, place, room, restaurant and all were amazing. The staff is very kind and they help for everything. I visited 32 countries before but I never seen like this hotel. Many of the staff members did not speak english (especially in the kitchen areas) and sometimes it was difficult to communicate.

Unique hotel, amazing experience. Huge and unique rooms. Good facilities (spa, pool). Good location and great view. Huge breakfast and good food. Overall good staff, specifically Gondal, always available and very kind in every situation.

Finding this hotel was a bit tricky. Navigation took us a long way

Each guest room has a unique design. ambient music transport us into a dreamy like state. If the concept of hell isn’t for you, they also have a heaven section where you can hang around in the scented greenhouse. Still not attracting? How about a complementary beautiful Turkish breakfast here?
