Poor wifi in the room. Breakfast was a bit chaotic, too many people. Last day I went as soon as it was opened it was quiet but no eggs, no fruits, just one type of bread :(

We were given the wrong room first without a balcony. When I showed her the pictures on booking.com she said the pictures were of king deluxe, not what we booked, so the pictures in booking.com are not what they give you. Very small balcony that has no chairs( they wouldnt fit) .Very small room. No service in the breakfast room, overcrowded, empty bain-marie not being filled in a timely manner. Only turkish breakfast, no western or other options. No service at the pool or bar area. You have to find someone. We dont believe it should be classed as 4 star hotel. Beware of hotel policy that they charge if towels or sheets get anything on them.Would not stay again

You can tell the hotel must have been a true 5-star gem in the 80s/90s. Now it’s a little past its prime, but it still provides a pleasant stay. Also, the Jacuzzi was a bit small or, anyway, not for 2 people. But maybe it depends on the room :)

The breakfast is not great. And the TV is mostly Turkish channels which doesn't add value to foreign tourists. The Netflix and Primevideo did not work on our TV despite a technician coming to fix it. It is just standard local Turkish channels available.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is very close to Istiklal street where you can do all your shopping as well as fantastic restaurants. It is very close to the Galata tower where you have the shops with the typical Turkish goods to buy. The swimming pool on the rooftop is wonderful; it really helps with kids. The indoor pool and spa facilities looked amazing, but we didn't have time to make use of it.

My room was on one of the lower floors with no view looking at a brick wall which was a bit disappointing for 150 AUD but Istanbul is very expensive so I guess you have to pay hundreds of dollars for a view but the room was comfortable and clean, I could only stay one night as the hotel was fully booked

The staff were very helpful,the pool was so lovely in the hot weather,the attendants and bar staff were lovely and friendly,the office/reception manager was super helpful calling other hotels to help me find somewhere else to stay when they were full and I could not extend my stay

Jakuzzi was at the balcony and dirty, balcony and jakuzzi were never cleaned during our stay. Space available for breakfast cannot accommodate all customers of the hotel. chair pillow was damaged

The breakfast could be improved by adding clear signs indicating what each food item is. This would help guests better understand the options available, especially for those unfamiliar with certain dishes. A number of issues: my room had no outside window, My shower entrance was very narrow. My breakfast, including personal items, was cleared away each time I got up, eg for a coffee refill. The showers by the pool were disgusting. The pool was smaller than anticipated, and life guarding intermittent. You had no idea if you were going to get coffee/ towels/ water each day- sometimes loads, sometimes nothing. Other smaller issues, including disturbance from the phone on the corridor.

The food was good at breakfast, and most of the staff were helpful. Pool area was good. Very friendly room maid.

Breakfast was the same every day, with no variety. The catering staff were generally unfriendly, and one lady in particular often seemed rude or upset (managers were ok and resourceful). Tables were not cleaned properly, and the same dirty cloth was used repeatedly. In addition, the tour staff located next to the reception were not reliable with our airport transfer. In the end, they had to refund our payment, and we were forced to find a last-minute taxi to the airport.

The whole hotel is tired and unloved. Staff not very helpful and few around, everything is slightly broken or unclean. The gym equipment is all broken. Rooms smell of smoke. Breakfast was packed and poor quality.

The double rooms are tiny - nowhere to put your suitcase for two people and breakfast was too crowded so we did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

Location was fabulous. So close to everything - great bats and restaurants just minutes walk from the hotel and shopping and craft markets. Hotel was great - rooftop pool and bar was lovely. Staff very friendly. Rooms cleaned everyday and no problem asking for more towels or toilet tissue etc!

Staff is not fluent in English so communication was an issue and inaccurate information provided at times.Breakfast was very chaotic as dining room is too small to accomodate a large corwd during peak hours and serving dishes were not refilled as and when needed.Poor cleaning of the room . The room is small and not soundproof so one can hear surrounding noise which was disturbing at night.There are two lifts but only one was functioning properly. Very often we ran out of hot water. Not all staff were attentive and responsive to guest's needs.

Very good and lively location within a few minutes walks to Istiklall street and near iconic landmarks. A taxi stand next to hotel and metro within a short distance.Overall staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast was a mix of continental and kurdish and i enjoyed the fresh watermelon and melons. The bed was comfortable and room compact with basic amenities.
