The triple room was very small given the addition of the bed but then some of the additional furniture needs to be removed. The sea view was nice but there is a not so picturesque view of a rooftop in front of it.

Staff were amazing, very helpful and gave some great tips. Property was close to blue mosque and very quiet. Breakfast was a feast!

The location was perfect for easy walking to all the key sites. The breakfast was amazing. So many small dishes to try out, as well as bread, crepes, french toast, omelettes.. But the best part of our stay was the staff, who were all friendly & helpful. Eren at the front desk on the evening shift was delightful, with great tips, and an exuberant personality. Thinking if him now, still makes us smile.

Amazing location, close to a lot of the beautiful sights. It was hot in July so we were able to go out early to visit mosques etc and then come back for the fabulous breakfast before cooling down and heading back out again.

Great location and close to the main tourist attractions in Istanbul. The breakfast was huge with a selection of meats, cheeses dips, bread and pastries. All of the staff were amazing but a special shout out to Eren who was always bright and cheerful.

The property was beautiful and centrally located! The breakfast was incredible! The hotel had everything you needed and was super cozy! The staff from front office to cleaning crew were exceptional! We traveled with three small kiddos and they made our stay smooth and so comfortable. We will definitely return!

We recently had a fabulous experience at Hotel Poem! This charming hotel is in a fantastic central location in Istanbul and is surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Each room is well appointed and features a distinct literacy theme. A real highlight of Hotel Poem is the absolutely delicious breakfast with a huge range of options. Lots of reviews mention the amazing staff at Hotel Poem and I totally agree with this. Prior to our arrival Arif was more than generous with helping book tours, provide information about transport options, and arranged our airport transfers. You would be hard pressed to find a more positive, friendly and charming reception staff member than Eren. We absolutely loved our time with Eren! He was an amazing conversationalist and ensured that everything ran like clockwork for us. We would highly recommend Hotel Poem if you appreciate a high level of customer service with a distinct personal approach.

At first glance doesn’t look much but inside the attention to detail and the quality of fittings is first class. It’s quirky but in great taste. Erin at reception is a great host and ensures your stay is not only comfortable but whatever you need is taken care of. It is a great location tucked away and quiet but accessible to transport and walking distance yo a lot of the major attractions. Would highly recommend staying at the Poem! Ps include the breakfast you won’t need lunch!

Wish we could have stayed longer

We had a wonderful stay at Poem Hotel. The location is perfect, just a short walk from many of Istanbul’s top attractions and the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting. A special mention goes to Eren, who was incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. Eren took the time to explain what to do and what to avoid while in Istanbul, giving us practical tips that made our trip so much smoother. Eren’s kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel truly at home. We also want to thank Cinar, who was equally kind and took great care of our delicious breakfasts every morning. Cinar was always checking in to make sure we were doing fine, adding an extra layer of warmth to our stay. Both Eren and Cinar made our experience at Poem Hotel unforgettable, and we would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

A bit of a walk from the main tram stop, which is the easiest way to get around.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a small issue at first — not all towel sets were provided in the room — but it was quickly resolved. The next day, they even offered me a room upgrade with a better view as a kind gesture. The Turkish breakfast was very good, with a nice variety. Overall, a great experience and excellent service.

The stay truly topped our experience in Istanbul! From the start, the warmth and professionalism of the team stood out—every member of staff, from reception to the kitchen, greeted us with genuine friendliness. Imagine being welcomed with a big smile every time you walk in! A special mention goes to Eren and Omar (apologies if I’ve spelt your names incorrectly). Upon learning it was my birthday, Eren surprised us with the most delicious cake at breakfast—such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. Omar not only served us the tastiest breakfasts but also made us feel at home with his kind conversations. These little moments really elevated our stay and made us feel genuinely cared for. We were also delighted to be upgraded to a beautiful room with a view of the Bosphorus—what a dream to wake up to each morning! The hotel’s location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to all the main attractions, yet tucked away in a peaceful and quiet spot.
