Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

The hotel is good and modern, the staff are nice and helpful. We had room upgrade for free. The room is big and clean. The location is perfect, in 2 minutes can reach bus and tram stop, metro and ferry station. All touristic places beside the hotel.

DenmarkSince the hotel is in the middle of a building block, we had no view from the room. The windows were facing a wall. Very little natural lighting, so we had to use the lamps most of the day. We requested a child cot and were given an old, crumbling cot with no mattress. We couldn’t use it. But the biggest disappointment for us was breakfast. The selection of food was pretty standard, but it looked so stale and tasted weird. We stayed 5 days and nothing changed. Same food, same horrible taste every day. I think it was the worst breakfast I ever had in a hotel. Such a shame given the breakfast area itself is amazing.
Very nice central location close to the tram station. One can also have a nice walk along the Galataport waterfront or to the Galata tower. No street noise. It was very quiet during the nights. The hotel is situated in a way that it’s surrounded by other buildings which shield it from the noise. Our room was clean. Amazing view from the dining area. Polite and friendly staff willing to help.

As our first time in Istanbul, we had no idea of what to expect. When we arrived at our hotel we were a bit concerned because of the alley we had to walk through. We soon found that the most amazing gem of a hotel. Rasul greeted us with a warm smile and cold water. Our room was large and clean with ample room for three adults. Breakfast on the rooftop each morning was excellent ;with much variety. The location is surrounded by many shops and restaurants. We found out on our last day that there is a second terrace which gives you a perfect spot for pictures of the water. Akin and his staff are amazing polite and courteous
