Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

RomaniaFor me it's difficult to sleep with the air conditioner on, but it was the only way I could get the room heated. It had been raining all day and temperature dropped by 10 degrees, so it was important for me to dry my clothes over night. Didn't get much sleep both nights I was there - besides the air conditioner, there was a lot of noise in the building. Breakfast was cold, there was no water or tea included, and the egg was probably boiled to death.
The hotel and restaurant staff were very attending & they answered my requests every time. I liked the fact that there were sodas, instant coffee, tea & water in my room. I got help from reception whenever I asked, thank you for that!

IrelandOnly 1 socket available in the room, 2 if you plug out the tv but that socket is 6ft off the ground and not ideal for use. The shower head hanger is only at hip height. The noise at night from both inside and outside the hotel made it difficult to sleep and the walls are thin.
Staff was very friendly on arrival, location is good and close to a metro stop, room was spacious. Free breakfast was ok, nothing special. Overall ok for the price.

I liked very much that the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was right next to one of the subway stations. The breakfast was good as well as the restaurant.

Azerbaijan"My stay was very terrible, the hotel is very old, the rooms are very small and very dirty. The bathroom is very narrow, making it very difficult for one person to move inside. Breakfast is not buffet-style. The hotel staff is very rude and unwilling to help. There is no daily room cleaning. The air conditioning doesn't work, so we had a lot of trouble in the heat. The hairdryer is broken. It's far from tourist areas, so you have to take a taxi everywhere. Think again before choosing this hotel; I won't come back here again."

BelgiumSleeping was uncomfortable because of the bad and very old bed mattress. I could feel the springs entering my back and I could not sleep comfortably. When I booked the room, I requested a non-smoking room, but unfortunately my room was a smoking room. The hotel manager changed my room after two days, but unfortunately it was also a smoking room, but with less smoke smell. The air conditioner makes very annoying noises if you want to turn it on, so you cannot turn it on for a long time, otherwise your head will hurt.

I liked the location a lot. There are a lot of restaurants around. You will find good turkish, Middle Eastern, and western fast-food. My room was clean and cozy, and I slept well! The staff was amazing. They were really helpful and accommodating. Once I checked out, they allowed me to store my luggage in the storage room for the whole day until I came and picked it up in the evening. My flight was at late night, so this was really helpful, and I highly appreciated this and thank the staff members for this!! Thank you!!!
