How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Hotel could be noisy at times
Good location in a very traditional neighborhood, Hotel is a very good value for money, friendly and very helpful staff, clean and accessible

Very poor soundproofing, there was no fridge in the room and I would have liked better cleanliness.
For this price, it is really good. For me location was perfect

The bathroom in the room had no vent or window, and the beds were very squeaky which kept waking us all through the night
Hotel was close to metro and close to the location we needed. The staff were very helpful and accommodating

It would have been nice if the tv's were Smart TV's. Mostly foreigners book hotel rooms and most of us don't speak Turkish. I would be wise replacing the tv's. And have a Microwave available in the Hotel to warm our meals we buy outside hence the hotel doesn't have a restaurant

Three bed room was very small, without room to move. Not perfectly clean in the bathroom.
The hotel is near to Memorial Hospital which was the reason of our visit. Staff was great.

Some visitors were smoking in rooms. Managed to ask personnel to exchange pillows due to tobacco odor.
The hotel location is favourable for some planned activities.

They woke us up at 4:30 in the morning to ask for our passports again due to some error in the hotel's system. They could wait for us to wake up and be asked whatever they wanted. You can't find parking while the shops are open. You are only available after 21:00.

I lived in the hotel for 3 nights. However, on day 2, the pillowcase and bed sheet were not clean enough, and I saw many （yellow and gray) stains.
Good price and a good location! The reception lady is very kind!

Sewage is felt, an unpleasant smell. I wish they changed the towels every day.

Breakfast was not included. The bed sheets were dirty, we had to ask to change it. We had cockroach in our room. When you turn on air conditioner, it smelled like mold.
We liked location. It was closed to the Memorial Hospital. One guy helped with my baggage:)

The bah-room was smelling so much that even I could not use it for a shower. there were not any ventilation in toilet and could smell also in the room. The Receptionist from Iran did not have any idea about professional communication, that should not disturb people, when they are sitting in tea room and not only coming, sitting and starting communication. The last night when I requested him to call to a taxi for me, he refused as if I want to go to airport, I should/must use the Hotel’s shuttle and he would not do it for me! When I insisted, that he should call a taxi for me for another destination for 22:00, he used his own membership for the taxi, which was for 7:00 and did not accept card-payment and wanted only cash. The Receptionist told me, he could pay for me cash and I may pay him later! I was so furious that left the hotel at once, and used another alternative to my destination. It was my first experience in this hotel and will be the last one.
Room: There were not elevator and since I had problem withmy back and knee, I requested for lower floor but they did not have place.

First of all really friendly and helping staff, room was very cozy, clean, with all the necessities and just like in the images. The hotel feels quite modern. It is only 5-6 minute walking distance to the subway, and metrobus line. Located in the western part of Istanbul, it is one of the most local peaople filled places, giving you a more realistic istanbul lifestyle view. By the way around the hotel there are cafes, supermarkets and really delicious breakfast and dinner spots. Absolutely recommend it.
