Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

KazakhstanExcellent service and a cozy atmosphere! We had a wonderful stay at Ottoman’s Pearl Hotel! A special thank you to the reception staff — our flight was delayed, and we didn’t arrive until 1:30 AM, but they kindly waited for us and made sure we were welcomed warmly. This level of hospitality truly made a great impression. The room was clean and comfortable, with a charming traditional design. Everything we needed was provided, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and inviting. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a pleasant stay in Istanbul!

GermanyThe area is very touristic, go see the attractions and head out of there. Food is very overpriced in the area when I visited in December 2024.
The location is great for a short visit. Room was well equipped, clean and the bed was comfortabel. It's walking distance from the main historical attractions. Had amazing Pide, made fresh in front of me at Efe Pita Oven.

RomaniaThey do not have mosquito nets on the windows, but it was not a big problem for us since we went in October, and it might have been too chilly for the mosquitoes. Additionally, the hotel is at the base of a hill, so almost anywhere we went required walking up that hill.
The breakfast was very good and nourishing. The room was clean, not very big, but more than enough for our needs, and the staff was very nice to us. On the first night, we had a problem with the toilet; it was making an annoying sound. They tried to fix it on the spot but could not, so they offered us another room. It was really nice of them, especially because we booked an economy room, but due to the toilet problem, they gave us a standard room they had available. The difference between them is that the economy room is near the reception, which makes it noisier. We also had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, which was very good and reasonably priced.

United KingdomThere is a faint odour in the bathroom every few hours - that may have been plumbing issues. It did not create any problems, water pressure was fine as well.
The room is well equipped with all amenities - it was very hot, the air conditioner worked extremely well. The bedding was comfortable. The neighbourhood felt vibrant, and safe through the night - there are more than enough eateries and supermarkets to have cooked and fresh food. It is a walking distance from Sultanhamet and the riverside.

IranThere are some different things: if you are going to use public transportation you should know that hotel is located in down part of a hill so you will walk for 10 min hiking to reach the trams. Rooms will be cleaned every two days and they only changed one of the sheets and the other one never changed. Water and coffees charged every two days. One big negative things that happened: I asked a taxi from reception, he called taxi and at the end we figured out that our journey costs 400TL and the reception told we had to pay 800TL. I mean he will charge you for a call!!!
We had some guests in our room, staffs were ok with their presence.

Looking out onto a garden, not a road. Fairly good location but very steep roads to public transport. Quiet location with various restaurants close by.
