The bed was really rough and matteress was hard.light bulb on the room kept staying on even whilst switched off. Also balcony door has no curtain so light comes through first thing.

Location was spot on and staff really friendly and welcoming.

Some things a bit shabby and could have been cleaned better. The “bar” wasn’t a fully operational bar either.

It was decorated nicely and the staff was very friendly. A nice oasis in the middle of old town Tarsus.

Beautiful hotel in a historical building with great atmosphere in the heart of old Tarsus. Nice courtyard with comfortable seating with tables, providing a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying evening drinks and breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is conveniently located in the historic city centre with easy access to the main attractions. Private parking is an added bonus. The hotel's common areas (e.g. garden) are better organised than the rooms. The room has old furniture and the shower is not conveniently combined with the toilet. The staff do not speak English, but are very friendly and helpful.

Obviously guests are allowed to smoke in the rooms. We could only sleep with the windows wide open because the room smelled like old cigarette fumes. When we left, we too smelled like heavy smokers. The hotel should definitely provide non smoking rooms.

nice breakfast , very attentive staff, beautiful old building, parking

If you don't speak turkish be aware that in hotel and elsewhere very few speak English, German etc - you can get a little help from tourist information in old town

Located in the beautiful old town - with beautiful old buildings around and all interesting sights in walking distance - still it was nice and quiet at night.Room was in old osmanian style and very beautiful. You could really dream away to old days. Shops and everything you need ( from the world of today,) in walking distance. And very helpful staff

Staying at this hotel was a truly memorable experience. The building itself is beautifully preserved, with a strong sense of history that makes you feel as if you’re staying in a charming, centuries-old home. Despite its age, everything is kept spotlessly clean and wonderfully cosy. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Tarsus’s historic district, making it easy to explore the town’s rich cultural heritage on foot. What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, treating you not like a customer, but like a guest in their own home. Their warmth and attentiveness added a special touch to the whole experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic, comfortable, and heartfelt stay in Tarsus.

    To be truthful - nothing!

I chose the Osmanli Marco Pasha Hotel for its location and for motorcycle security. On both aspects it was excellent. The hotel has an exotic atmosphere with interesting and attractive buildings and plants. The parking is enclosed, the rooms clean and functional, and breakfast was both ‘typical’ and individual. Most enjoyable! No evening meal was available but the manager organised one of her staff to take me to a local restaurant where I had an excellent meal. I also had some sightseeing desires. The hotel is but a 5-10 minute walk from St Paul’s house and well. I have no hesitation in recommending Osmanli Marco Pasha Hotel.

The manager was extremely rude to my face and they speak lies bluntly. I did not stay at the property yet they have refused to refund. It is a shabby old property in need of modernisation. It is worth half the price they ask. Do not book this property. There is another beautiful hotel called ELIF HATUN KONAGI which I highly recommend to all. Be blessed in the LORD amen ✝️

I couldn’t and did not stay at this property for the owner or the manager (not sure of his position) was extremely rude. I have requested refund but it was refused by him. So I called the police due to his harassment and left. Although I did not stay at the property and the owner or manager was extremely rude at the degree that I had to call the police for harassment I still did not get the refund. May the Lord forgive them and do not count against them what they have tried to do to me in Christ Jesus amen ✝️
