Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomEverything was amazing due to the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. The cave suite with swimming pool that I booked was too hot for our stay so we were moved to a better ventilated room without any issues. My 68 yr old mum was grateful since she’s got a dust allergy and the cave room not being properly ventilated was going to cause discomfort for her. Luckily Shamin was awesome and reassigned us a jacuzzi room. I can’t thank her enough. Dr Murad has been hands on the best host we could ask for. He’s been extremely attentive to my mother’s needs and made sure she was comfortable. I’ve been to many hotels and what makes a hotel great is the staff and Nar Cave House wins hands down the award for the best staff. We had to be at the airport around 9am and breakfast starts at 8:30 but Dr Murad made sure we got our full breakfast at 8am. Again we were very impressed by his empathy and grateful for his thoughtfulness. He is an asset to this hotel. Top marks for the kitchen staff too. Very friendly, thoughtful and polite.
This hotel wins on authenticity. Location is remote with no great public transport except for yellow taxis, but hotel provides a free shuttle service from 10:30 to 6pm which was amazing. Lots of steps in the property which is normal given that it is a cave style hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful carrying our luggage. Beautiful decor especially around the restaurant/dining area. Terrace area looks magical at night and the view is breathtaking.

United KingdomThe place is not for someone who has a problem of mobility because there is no elevator and you have to use the stairs to go to the top restaurant. But the view there was amazing. We have a day tour that starts at 9 a m, but the breakfast starts at 08:30 a m. I was just hoping that the hotel staff could give some consideration to those guests to start an early breakfast, perhaps at 08:00 a m. so they can have plenty of time eating rather than rushing. They can maybe organise this at the reception, the day before the tour starts. When we arrived, there were no receptionists around, although they could see you from the CCTV. You could also ring the bel on the side of the entrance door,l so they can attend to your needs. Mostly, they are attending guest at the restaurant.
I like the hotel, it's authentic. You could feel and see the beautiful ambience of Cappadocia. The place is amazing. The staff were so helpful, and even if we came after 9 a.m.,from the airport, we were able to catch the day tour bus on our first day at the hotel. Thanks to Tohan, you made it possible for us to join the tour. We paid for the day tour at the reception, they can organise it for you. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. I have seen some parking spaces available if the guest needed to park. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The staff was lovely at the restaurant, special thanks to Mamud, Shamin, and Mehmet. I am recommending the hotel to those who would like to experience authenticity. I would definitely go back there again.

United KingdomIt is far from the city centre which can make things like ordering food take a while and taxis will be expensive to Kayseri airport, which I realised you must fly to unless you come from Istanbul in which case you can get to Nevesehir Airport which is only a few minutes away.
The staff were the friendliest I've ever seen and I've travelled a lot. They were so kind and would go out of their way to help, especially Edward and Fatih. They helped us save money on our taxis and order food and anything else we needed. This is also by far the prettiest hotel I've ever been in, giving real cave vibes and being nice and cool naturally.

IndiaStaying at Cappadocia Nar Cave House was a truly unique and memorable experience. Nestled in a peaceful location with stunning valley views, the hotel captures the authentic charm of the region. The cave rooms offered a cozy, atmospheric vibe that made the stay feel magical — a perfect blend of history and comfort. The service was outstanding, with warm, attentive staff who made us feel right at home. Each morning began with a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast, featuring local flavors and generous portions — definitely a highlight of the stay. If you're looking to experience the real essence of Cappadocia in a tranquil and beautifully maintained setting, this is the place.

United KingdomThe location is a €20 cab ride from restaurants etc - its adds up when you are spending €40 per day to eat. There is nothing in Nar to eat or drink

IndiaNar Cave House & Swimming Pool was such a unique and memorable stay! The cave rooms were cozy, beautifully designed, and gave an authentic touch to the whole experience. The pool area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. What really made the stay special, though, was the staff—so warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming especially Mr. Murad. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend other.

RomaniaThe rooms are rather small and the pool was too cold. If you advertise with an indoor pool, I would expect the water to be heated, instead it was outside temperature (and April is not the best month for an outdoor swim).
Unique experience for a first timer in a cave hotel. It's a bit isolated but this comes with the nature of the place. It's relaxing, though. You can order food from a place downtown and the staff serves it to you in the restaurant (but it's rather overpriced mind you). They are quite nice and helpful.

United KingdomThe washroom could have been cleaner. I understand it's a cave house still ceiling can be scrubbed out with sand paper. The room was dusty because of the stones which triggered my dust allergy.

United KingdomWe stayed in the room with private pool which was our reason for staying here and it was a wonderful experience. However, the room was so hot and humid from the pool it was hard to sleep even though they supply two large fans in the room. We stayed 2 nights and our room wasn't serviced in that time. We were omly given 2 teabags and 2 paper cups in the room so we had to request coffee and more cups each day as the room wasn't serviced. Proper cups would have been much nicer. The location was not what we had expected. It is in a small village with nothing around. Would be more suited if you had a car, which we didn't.
We were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived at Nar Cave House. Every member of staff was friendly and chatty and gave us advice to help make the most of our stay. The hotel offer a free shuttle service into Nevsehir once a day and you can then catch local buses to other areas. The hotel itself is wonderful, and we enjoyed spending time in the bar/restaurant in the evenings. Breakfast and evening meals were delicious. The staff really could not have been more helpful.

IrelandMainly location - it was bit far from Goreme (which is main town for all attractions, near by) - We had to book taxi each time to go out and visit places which costed around 20 Euros (550/600 Lira per trip)
Staff (Murad and others) was extremely helpful providing necessary details about near by attractions in the town. The owner/manager was also friendly and takes care of each guest.
