Amazing staff - their approach to clients, help and care! Booked a balloon flight through them, for a perfect price. The cave room was fantastic also, enough space to accomodate the family. Comfy beds and armchairs - great relax. Tasty traditional breakfast, wide selection. Perfectly located not far from other cave hotels, restaurants and shops.

The bathroom would need some small repairs after the season, but was functional and clean. Would prefer a nice garden or courtyard instead of the rooftop restaurant:)

Nice location , the breakfast was good Yunus was very professional and helpful, he even allowed us to leave our bags for the whole day after checkout.

The location was amazing! Our 4 people room had a balcony which was delightful to hang out in anytime we were home. The living room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The staff was kind, helpful and on top of things. Their cute puppy was a hit with the kids:) breakfast was amazing!!!

I wish I had known that there was live music playing till midnight, it was not unpleasant music thankfully.. but still it was to fall asleep. This is common for places all over Goreme.

Oh my word! Location is fantastic. The breakfast was superb - lots of variety and delicious. The rooms themselves were spacious, authentic caves with comfortable beds and more than enough space. We had a family room with two queen beds and never felt cramped. The hotel is family run and Ali and his family were amazing hosts who arranged all our tours and outings. All round one of the most special places we’ve stayed in.

Loved the view from the terrace which was just outside our room. Great place to enjoy the sunset and night panoramic view of Goreme. Room was cozy and offered good nights’ rest. Location offers many options for dining. Cannot have enough of the hot Turkish pancake for breakfast. Nightly music from the bar below was well insulated which did not disturb our sleep. Staff was helpful with our luggage up the stairs to room.

the rooms are very nicely decorated, clean and spacious. they are decorated authentically in accordance with the whole ambience. The staff is very friendly, and the owners are exceptional, always ready to help and make you feel at home. And Asena is especially close to our hearts😃Cappadocia is a dream, and Goreme is like a fairy tale. The hotel is very well located, 5 minutes from the center. It also has a wonderful terrace from which you can see the whole of Goreme. We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

The carpets in the room were not as clean as we'd like. Lighting could have been better too.

The staff was very helpful giving us information about tours and finding our hot air balloon flight. They also arranged a nice surprise for my wife’s birthday. The hotel is at walking distance from a lot of restaurants.

The door lock was a bit difficult to operate quickly.

Sunset Cave Hotel exceeded all expectations with its breathtaking views and authentic cave rooms. The staff and owners specially Ali and Türker were incredibly warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Every detail—from the delicious breakfast to the cozy ambiance—made our stay unforgettable!

The hotel is perfectly located, very close to the main viewpoints to watch the hot air balloons at sunrise, as well as restaurants and shops in Göreme. The hotel preserves the authentic and traditional style of the region, with comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms. The breakfast is good and varied. , the atmosphere created by the father and son who run the hotel is truly unbeatable: they were extremely kind.

One evening, there was a temporary water outage, but it was resolved early the next morning. Additionally, there was a slight musty smell in the room.

It was interesting experience to live in real cave and we really enjoyed jacuzzi in the cave. The location of hotel is perfect: very close to city center and view point. Unfortunately, the weather was bad during our visit, so we enjoyed the beautiful views of Goreme and modelling snowmen on the terrace, rather than the views of the balloons :) The staff was very welcoming. They booked the balloon flight for us and some trips. At first glance, the breakfast seemed modest, but then it turned out that there was everything to get a good boost before a busy day of activities. If we will have chance to back to Goreme one day we would like to stay in Sunset Cave again.

It was a beautiful location. The rooms were amazing and the staff were very friendly. The room had a great view and small courtyard area. There was a jacuzzi in the bathroom which was an added luxury. Breakfast had reasonable options and was tasty. It was also a 10 min walk from the centre of Goreme and there are restaurants pretty much everywhere

Location was excellent, very close to sunset point and a few minutes walk to Goreme shops and cafes . The staff were very polite and packed us an excellent breakfast for our early morning flight

1. Beautiful view from the room terraces. 2. The manager continues to use the microwave in the kitchen (this was not provided for by the hotel service). 3. In general, a dietary breakfast of the "buffet" type (someone will call it monotonous and meager) But for me it was a plus. I did not rate it higher mainly because of the staff's disdainful attitude towards my problem when I fell ill. It was the height of cynicism, indifference, formalism and a rude commercial approach to the client.

1. On the second-to-last day of our stay, I caught a cold. On the last day (the day of departure), I sat in the hotel lobby for two hours with a fever of 38.7°C, waiting for my transfer. No one even offered me a glass of water, let alone tea or—perhaps as a gesture of hospitality—a free room for a couple of hours so I could lie down. (I understand this is not standard practice, and the hotel was not obliged to do so.) The manager knew I was sick, knew I had a high fever, and they had vacant rooms—but he simply didn’t care. It felt like, once our stay was over, they no longer knew us or had anything to do with us. 2. The apartment was quite dirty. I understand it’s a cave-style accommodation, but surely, the walls and ceiling should be vacuumed occasionally to remove cobwebs, and the bathroom surfaces should be treated against mold. 3. The room was cold. The air conditioner didn’t work properly for heating—it kept turning off on its own. The manager tried to "fix" it, but nothing worked. Calling a technician? No, that wasn’t even considered. I had to keep checking and restarting the air conditioner myself. To be fair, the manager did bring an old heater from storage. But it was so dirty and dusty that my wife and I had to clean it for about an hour instead of relaxing. The manager saw the state of the heater but didn’t offer any help in cleaning it. 4. In general, the service is a topic in itself. I’ll give just one example: on the first evening, I left a dirty towel outside the door so the staff could take it. The towel remained there the entire next day. The morning after that, when we left the room, it was still there. Only in the evening, when we returned, was it finally gone. And this was the case with everything. 5. The shower cabin was leaking. 6.Instead of a proper socket, an extension cord was hanging from the wall. One socket had no cover, with exposed wires sticking out. Another socket was loose and falling out.
