How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

One of the sheets I tried to cover with had a smell of another person (unpleasant).. It wasn't a smell you feel from far but when I tried to cover my face I felt it. Like it hasn't been washed after someone else (with unpleasant smell) used it. The bed was moving a bit but once you were on it, it was firm. Generally it's a decent hotel keeping in mind it's cheap.
The staff is super friendly and the hotel is just fine for it's price. The shower was hot. Toilet works well. Wifi works well. The location is great, just a couple minutes of walk from the Blue Mosque.

Breakfast was insufficient, and the room was dusty.

The stairs, there are lots of them and they are really narrow.
The staff was really kind and helpful. Also the view on the rooftop is amazing. I really recommend it. The hotel placement is great, really close to lots of places.

When I checked in I did not get the WiFi password until I came later to front desk to ask for it. Understandably I was tired after flight and wanted to sleep.

The room was overlooking the street, which is although small and narrow , very busy and noisy. Even the bigger tracks and buses are passing by making noise and pollution. The stairs are very steep and narrow. The lighting in the bathroom was not suficient. The light above the washing tub did not work. Needs few more lights. The reception area is very small.
The location is very good, considering the distance from the attractions, Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, nearby restaurants, small shops, and etc. The room was good and comfortable, but needs some improvements.Clean badsheets and towels. The staff was very polite and available for any need or help. They helped us with the shuttle from and to the airport.

Photos on Booking give a feeling of a fancy hotel but in reality it's not quite that. Under renovation at the moment according all the dust and working tool laying around.

A small hotel in a great location near the blue mosque, staff were super friendly and made me feel very welcome. The room was really clean and was just perfect for my needs. Overall its a great little top value hotel and the terrace is definitely worth a look. I look forward to returning some day. Marty

Wasn't sure if water in bathroom was drinking water - a sign to this effect would have been good.
Friendly staff were available all hours, which was good for late airport transfers etc. Great location.

We stayed at the hotel for a week. It is a great value for the money. The location is very good, a short walk from the Blue mosk and Hagia Sofia. The room was small, but enough for us. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop terrace.

the place has character, I was on the 4 th floor , and getting my bags up and down the small stairs nearly killed me ! room was older and small but was clean and had what’s needed.
location was great , about a 10 min walk to Blue Mosque. no breakfast at the hotel , but lots of options around the area. price

There was nothing such to dislike.
The location of the property is best in town. 5 minutes walking distance to Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. The staff was excellent, humble and ready to help and assist all the time. 24hrs reception desk. Near by super markets, restaurants, fruit shop and a bar as well 😜. It is good value for money. I am a happy guest leaving with good memories.
