Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

it was a nice experience for one night, small improvements could be to enhance the breakfast (quite normal) and the room was very small.
I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a good experience. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the garden was nice and quite peaceful.

The staff were very helpful and nice. They speak English fluently. Our room had sea view and it was very nice. It was amazing for the price overall.

The hotel is a very nice place, not far from Boyalik Beach. The staff is also very friendly (especially the woman from restaurant, sorry, do not know her name), the hotel’s aesthetics fits the area, very comfortable and cozy. Also, there is a restaurant which serves pretty nice meals. The breakfast is also of the high quality.

The room needed many repairs e.g. balcony was not working properly, shower pipe was leaking. Also, the hotel needs to be refreshed as looks like e.g. painting, silicone in bathroom was not done for while. No kettle in the room.
Nice breakfast served by friendly and helpful staff (any query was answered promptly)

EVERYTHING! Excellent hotel, exceptional cleanliness, amazing staff, great location. Everything including communal areas are squeakingly clean. The staff is exceptional and very helpful - attending to all our needs and constantly asking what else they could do. Food / breakfast was exceptional with freshly house baked goodies / pastries and great selection of protein, cheeses and home made jams. Yakup bey (the manager) made our day every day, and was one the highlights of our stay in Cesme. Location of the hotel is amazing too - you can get to almost all city attractions / places of interest on foot. It is literally the best hotel service we have had in years in Turkey (so not adding anything to the next section - we liked everything!)

I must say that there was nothing I didn't like about my stay at the hotel. It was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish, and I couldn't find any faults or issues to complain about. I would only like to suggest the hotel consider offering complimentary tea service throughout the day, especially for guests like me who are from Kazakhstan and enjoy drinking tea from morning till night. This thoughtful addition could further enhance the overall guest experience, making the stay even more enjoyable and comfortable for guests like myself who appreciate a good cup of tea.
My recent experience at Crystal Clear Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. First and foremost, the rooms were immaculate. It was a joy to return to such a welcoming and crystal clear space after a day of exploring. But what truly sets this hotel apart is its outstanding staff. Nedibe, Emre, and Yakup, are the heart and soul of this establishment. Nedibe Hanım, in particular, is nothing short of an angel. Her warm smile and genuine care for guests make every visitor feel like a cherished friend. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay.

maybe bathroom shower needs some improvement. A but small .
Lord hotel is old but beautiful, has balcony to see mountains and sea .Breakfast was super fresh and tasty . Staff also so friendly.

The internet has poor connection and only works at certain locations. we booked two rooms and in both rooms the tv was not working they said they will check but no follow up. You can see the sea from the balcony but the beach is 14 minutes walk from the hotel.
We really enjoyed the breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. They give towels for the swimming pool which is nice.

The service was great ! Very friendly people, always smiling and willing to help with anything. Breakfast was delicious, rooms got cleaned every day. There's a bus station right in front of the hotel, you can take the bus to go to Alaçati or çesme. We loved the hotel and it definitely exceeded our expectations ! Again, very friendly people that will do their best to help you with anything.

older modern building and cheap plastic walls in the bathroom .. reminds me of bathrooms in Tao Bell ... the room is like a motel 6 motel room ... so very basic and plain and in the remodel the bathroom walls were covered with cheap plastic ... it is just an aging modern building ... there is no charm in the building ... it is okay, but just expect that .. and certainly it is not "on the beach" or all that near the beach
