How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Room smelt like cigarette smoke the first night but the smell disappeared after I left the window open overnight (weather during the time of my visit was warm enough).
Clean and very spacious. Comfortable bed, pillow and blankets. Good storage. Clean towels. Fridge and kettle worked. Air-con worked. WiFi was fast. Great location, main attractions were within walking distance and good restaurants right outside.

Ali is a very kind person. He help us to check in earlier, watch out for our luggage, call the taxi. He help us a lot. This hotel is a good choice because it’s far from noisy area and very clean.

Location to the tram is clutch as it made commuting to the airport very easy. Also, it is located right outside of the old town and the restaurants in the surrounding area was not overpriced. I think it is a great stay

The water supply is not soundproof. We could hear loud noise of the heater and water running from the other rooms.
The location was amazing. In the central of everything. Walking distance to all major attractions. The hotel manager and her team were gems. They assisted us for everything we needed. Big kudos to them.

Personal preference, but the pillows were a bit too hard for us.
A very convenient location near to the tram stop, and helpful to have a 24 hour reception. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The room was comfortable for our short stay.

Pillow is too hard and too high for my liking. Sewage smell, but not much.

The room was bright as courtains didn't fully cover the window and the light bulb didn't turn off completely. The bed is a little uncomfortable.
We booked this hotel as we were staying one night in town before leaving, so the location was perfect as it is just next to the center, and getting a cab and going to the airport the next day was very easy. This is a good hotel for a quick stay, for longer stays I would recommend staying in the center. The staff is very nice.

The rooms are very cosy, the receptionist was very helpful during our stay. They booked us taxi at fair prices at odd hours and gave us great recommendations. We loved our stay in the center of the city.

The room size was good but the bathroom and specifically the shower was very small. Also, the view from our room is of a building site which isn't great but didn't really bother us since we were out most of the time.
The location was in Old Town which is close to the beach and restaurants. The rooms were new and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Wifi would be slow at times.
Really good customer service at all times. Quick checking in. Great location in old town as it is close to all amenities. Studio room was good, we could make our own breakfast and buy things from local supermarkets.

I like the receptionist guy so much. Nice guy, clear instructions, quick and to the point. Great rooms. They have the perfect location we could just walk to the old town and restaurants. There was a paid parking but it was right next it so that was great too!

This hotel is new, stylish, well designed and really comfortable. We loved the location. The hotel is quiet and tranquil but a quick walk to the old town and very close to the tram. We also really appreciated that there were local restaurants, cafes and bars around us which were great quality and good value. The staff are really kind. Our flight was cancelled and they went out of their way to help us.
