IrelandThe only con was that I didn’t stay for longer! I really enjoyed my time in Goreme and would recommend this hotel to everyone.
I chose this hotel because of the other reviews about location and friendliness of people. My experience was amazing, I received quick responses to messages regarding tours and when I arrived I was given lots of helpful advice. The two boys always had a smile on their face! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Location was perfect. The terrace is beautiful and there was never anyone else there when I was!

Romania-at breakfast no espresso, or filter coffee, or any kind of natural coffee, just instant coffee. A big minus for me, a coffee lover -no fridge neither in the room nor in the common area, if you wanted to get 2 beers from the shop next door, you had nowhere to keep one cold. I find it unacceptable for this century Despite these minuses (big, in my opinion) I gave an excellent rating for the entire well-being of our stay
The king room is superb, with a terrace just for us and an extraordinary view over Goreme. We never get tired of sitting and listening to music at high altitude and with such a view. The guy at the reception always helped us with the parking space The breakfast was very good, with one exception that I will detail below

AustraliaWe didn’t like that the hotel stated that they would accept card on Booking.com but we were told that they only wanted cash Euros. We wanted to pay by card on checkout and were told we couldn’t, that they didn’t have a card machine. A card machine miraculously appeared to save the day with the receipt stating Asteria Cave Hotel.
We liked everything, cave, close to the town, the balloons do come into the township if the wind is right. Omer, one of the workers there worked very hard to make everyone’s stay enjoyable.

ChinaThe staff at this hotel are incredibly warm and friendly — most of your questions will be easily resolved. The location is also excellent, very close to a professional sunset viewpoint, which means you can enjoy a panoramic view of the town and the sunset right from the hotel rooftop. The rooms are uniquely designed, and the overall environment is beautiful.

ChinaBoth receptionists were extremely warm-hearted and kind. They helped us book a hot air balloon ride at a much lower price than travel agencies or online platforms, and they proactively assisted us with any issues we had. Even after we switched to another hotel the next day, they still took the initiative to help us book bus tickets online. The room is a classic cave hotel, definitely worth experiencing. And the two guys at the front desk are also incredibly handsome! Also, their breakfast was absolutely delicious—highly recommend everyone to try it!

AustraliaThe location was very convenient - I walked from the hotel to the Open Air Museum and was within walking distance of local restaurants, bars and shops, as well as other points of interest and local cultural experiences. Ahmet was so helpful as well and booked every experience that I requested, including transfers from and to the airport, hot air ballooning, traditional Turkish dinner and horseback riding. Breakfast on-site was also phenomenal with plenty of delicious options. The hotel also had a balcony for viewing the hot air balloons every morning. I highly recommend Asteria as a solo female traveller.

The shower attachment was not there but they moved me to another room as the maintenance person was fully booked. Staff were great. Overall good value for what you pay
The location is great. Close walking distance t the sunset point and not too far from the Main Street. The staff were always friendly, attentive and helpful. Thanks Ahmet and Omer, appreciated the advice and quick replies to my messages. And the breakfast were fresh, more than ample and water and coffee available.

Each morning, we were welcomed with an incredibly generous and beautifully prepared traditional Turkish breakfast—far more than we could ever finish. Ahmet was truly outstanding. He went above and beyond to help us plan our excursions, arrange airport transfers, and recommend excellent local restaurants. His hospitality made our stay exceptionally smooth and memorable.
