Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Staff very nice and the place made me feel like i was a local. The balcony in the room was the best part. In the night you can see all the city lights over the mountains and early in the morning you can see the balloons. There is a swimming pool as well which they fill if you request it. Breakfast is cooked at the moment for an extra 7 euro, they have a Terrance for that with a slight view of the pools and a good view of the mountains.

RomaniaWe got 2 rooms, triple and double both of them clean with comfortable beds . The triple room was nice and renovated while the double brought us back in 1980. Additionally we had lunch and I can say that the food was average and way more expensive than in the rest of the restaurants in Pamukkale
The location is great, clean rooms and free parking right in front of the hotel. We got a decent breakfast for 300 TL per person

EgyptKervansaray is clean, convenient, and well maintained. The covered roof terrace is a good place to rest after a day visiting Hierapolis and the pool is refreshing. The price and photos attracted me to book but it exceeded my expectations. Air conditioning in the room is very good. I highly recommend it.

Saudi Arabia- Breakfast option can be added at time of reservation as well
The staff were excellent, especially the mother and son who manage the property with great care. They were always available to offer support with anything we needed. The rooftop area is peaceful and spacious, with complimentary tea available at any time. The pricing was very reasonable considering the amenities offered—particularly the swimming pool, which is accessible at all hours. A truly relaxing and well-managed place!

GermanyLike most of the places, they accept only Cash but it was also mentioned while booking and hence I would not rate it as negative. There are many ATMs nearby and I could withdraw cash and pay. The bathroom was too old and needs renovation. Since we stayed only for 1 night, it was manageable.
we were family of 4 and the room had 4 beds. The location is very close to Traventine and hence can be reached via foot. It is also located close to many resturants and markets. The staff (Hasan) was very friendly and helped to book taxi for airport. Its centrally located in Pamukkale. It also has restaurant although we could not try out there. There was a bakery nearby where you get freshly prepared bread. It is also close to Indian restuarant 7spices which we tried and liked it. If you try hot air ballon then then you need not drive very far as its very close to the destination and you can also see many ballons flying.

NetherlandsWould be good if breakfast started at 7.30 instead of 8 AM -but we forgot to ask, maybe it is possible. Breakfast was good but price was slightly high compared to the cost of the accommodation.
No frills hotel at great price near the Pamukkale/Hierapolis sights, 5 minute walk to the city entrance at the bottom of the white hill. Bar/Breakfast/Restaurant at the top, from where you could also see the hot air balloons fly. Staff was friendly. Cash only (lira/euro/dollar). Facilities are dated but clean.

ItalyNothing, the place exceeded our expectations.
The pension is a family owned one, very economic so we had low expectations before arriving. However we've been very happily surprised on the very good value for money we got. The welcoming was very nice by the son of the family who runs the pension now. The rooms were not beautiful but large and clean and the pension has a nice rooftop where they serve free coffee and tea as well as paid-dinner/breakfast with a nice view on the Pamukkale travestine. So definitely a nice place if your looking for a budget place to stay that has clean rooms and facilities and warm people to welcome you :-)

United KingdomThere was no kettle in the room. However that turned out not to be a problem,as tea and hot water was available all day on the terrace - and tea drank with a view of Pamukkale is better than in the room 🙂 The breakfast price upon arrival was different then advertised when booking (7 EUR rather then 4). We ordered dishes from the menu instead which were tasty and seemed better value then the set breakfast, so again not something that impacted our experience, but may be useful for others to know.
The location is perfect - close to bus stop, restaurants and a short walk from Pamukkale site entrance, and a pretty view from the terrace. We have spent many nice moments there fuelled by the bottomless tea available for guests 🙂. The rooms are small and simple, and furniture has seen better days, but everything is clean and in good working order. The family who run the hotel were very kind and friendly. We had a very pleasant stay, and for the 30 EUR per night that we paid it was a bargain.
