Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaThere was no cleaning however we stayed 2 nights. I would suggest if not full cleaning of the room once a day but just a minor cleaning (laying out towels, arranging bathroom accessories)
Amazing staff, Tatiana is a charming lady, explained everything to us, was very welcoming and helpful! The villa we stayed in had its own pool, was very private, air conditioning was powerful though it was very hot outside. Just 2 minutes walking from the villa there is a great Turkish restaurant Cin Bal, really recommend it!

MontenegroI had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the breakfasts were excellent. Everything was just great. The only minor downside is that the surrounding infrastructure within walking distance is somewhat limited.

Turkeycomplimentary of two bottles of water on a daily basis would be nice
It was a peaceful holiday in a wonderful garden with only bird sounds, and the villa we stayed in was very comfortable. There could be a little more variety in the breakfast compared to a rich Turkish breakfast... (for instance sourdough bread kaymak (clotted cream)

United KingdomOur Sunshine Villa was fantastic. There was everything we needed - comfy beds, a washing machine, great kitchen and comfortable and relaxing indoor area and outdoor seating. The pool is beautiful with lots of areas to sit and enjoy the garden. Breakfast is great and the restaurant offers the best food in the village.

Everything :) really enjoyed stay in pristine clean villa and pool. Friendly stuff, felt like at home. Great place to stay. It was hard to leave. If you after beach holiday it is not a place for you. But if you like quiet places with beautiful and charming surroundings it is place to stay. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor. Car is essential.

United StatesNot applicable. Genuinely a beautiful hotel with even better staff!
Everything about this property was well thought out. The attention to detail was impeccable including the hotel toiletries, lighting, kitchenware, and etc. The price tag matched the service if I make my way back to Turkey I would stay here again. In addition, the staff were so friendly and made the stay even more special.

United KingdomReally couldn't fault anything
This hidden paradise has every detail and luxury ticked. Without being ostentatious, it offers tranquility, incredible staff, places to be private or sociable. Food was more than delicious - traditional with an interesting twist. Our room was gorgeous - beautifully designed and very comfortable with its own divine little pool. Overall, this place is difficult to describe but feels less like a hotel and more like a luxurious home.

SwitzerlandNothing comes to mind, no matter how hard I think...
Staff was outstanding, very caring and attentive. The villas are beautiful and the private garden was safe from views from other guests. The public area is also very pretty and has a pool, a nice bar and a restaurant with outstanding food; very recommendable! Breakfast was a delight! There is a possibility to hike to Ölüdeniz from the hotel; about 2.5 hours with beautiful views.

United KingdomThe roads leading upto the property can be choppy so anyone with a large car needs to be careful. Otherwise the property has plenty of parking and very spacious
The accommodation was exactly like the pictures. It was neat, great flooring and 2 spacious rooms for me and the family. Linen, toiletries were provided for and almost everyday we had the fireplace lit as it was the cold season. Hakan and his team were brilliant in helping and organising everything we needed. Kayakoy on its own has fewer things to do but we went around fethiye and other places to do site seeing.

Lebanon- No privacy : we were sitting suddenly a man decided to enter to fix the swimming pool , though the door was locked. - no room service - no food on premises - no proper hospitality; they count everything, they wanted to charge us for a small towel that got some sand on as it fell on the floor after the pool.
- good location - nice outdoor area (pool)

RussiaThe property and the facilities, it's wonderful location and beautiful surroundings is everything and is trully unique. We have choosen this place for holidays for 3 years in a row. I could definitely admit that the ambience at this place is unique. It was, actually, but not any longer. The team has changed. There is now a new manager, I dont even know her name - she did not find it necessary to introduce herself to the guests before communication. She was quite annoying with texting me, voice-messaging me even before arrival - she tried to make me arrive earlier than I advice her I would (and it was within the check-in hours). We actually did arrive earlier following her request, but she had already left her office upon our arrival at 21. The next question was that I should send her my credit card details in a private message chat so that she can withdraw a deposit for living. That's interesting. I'm not personally against charging deposits. However, I would expect it to be a transparent issue, for example, being stated in advance in a booking policy. Not a what's up message from someone I never heard from before. It's a hotel's right to charge a deposit, and my right as a customer to agree or not agree to it at the moment of booking, not after I have booked and paid for all the nights. The next morning at the hotel she greeted us with the words, hey guys, I need to take from you a deposit. As a first thing in the morning, we would expect from a hotel manager simple questions on how the stay is going, if everything is fine, but not the declaration of extra charges at the first sight. All of this is totally dissappointing. We would expect a more delicate and client-oriented approach from a manager. Being tactful, and respect the rights, boundaries and privacy of a customer. Hospitality is more than just charging money for a stay. In addition to these episodes, we were dissatisfied with the room.

AustraliaStaff friendly, but not good in communicating, for example when water was off for hours and no info given Also wanted to charge us at the end a lot of money extra for breakfast 'additions' like coffee, when breakfast was meant to be included. No mention of extra cost during the stay, only at end. Got resolved ok, but for a property at that price point, really unnecessary. Kitchen has new appliances, but no tools needed like handtowels etc Also felt like the place was more catering for family and friends of the owners, than for paying guests. Last but not least, had the worst ever pasta for dinner at the restaurant. Other food was OK, although a bit pricey...
Fantastic, modern, well appointed suite Very good breakfast Nice grounds and pool
