I booked an appartment with a terrace and was disappointed when we were settled into cellar rooms. No windows (!), a door to a small dirty spot outside overlooking the walls; broken washing machine, a bit dirty bathroom. I complained, and the staff members promised to find smth else. After 3 days they moved us to rooms on the top floor (at a small extra cost) with a nice balcony, windows, cosy bedroom, good kitchenette and nice bathroom. We spent the rest 5 days there and it was nice. So, the first impression not great, but ultimately it was fine.

Nice rooms, but only on top floors with balcony. Location is s bit shabby (some homeless and refugee beggars around); on the other hand it's the center, so most touristy places are located close-by. Good cleaning, very helpful staff, English speaking.

Good apartments for weekend in the heart of Istanbul

1)it was close to Tarlabasi. 2) going up a hill with suitcases is a bit of a struggle. The hotel is located in a disadvantaged area of Istanbul, despite being close to tourist spots. We came to Istanbul on business (my daughter was taking a language exam) and during the trip we had to walk along Tarlabaşı boulevard several times. Every day in 5 minutes from the hotel on the boulevard we met prostitutes, homeless people and a lot of transvestites. There is horrible rubbish everywhere. This is not the fault of the hotel, I just want to warn those who are uncomfortable with such a neighbourhood.

The room was small but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There are no complaints about the room and the hotel, everything is very good. The only thing, unfriendly indifferent one of the receptionists, the second man was very kind and helpful. Convenient that the manager is always on the message and speaks good English.

There was a huge cockroach in our kitchen on the first night and the beds weren’t very comfortable. The tours that they offer at the reception are horrible. We did 2 of them and both were really bad quality. It’s a bit far from everything and as the transportation there is quite complicated this can be an issue.

The staff really tried to help us with everything, super friendly. The breakfast on the corner cafe was quite nice as well.

Big no go is making a mistake with them, they won't forgive you cuz money smells too good for the berry team. I accidentally booked my room one day before my arriving I tried instantly to cancel my booking but they didn't want to (for info I was out of season and the room wasn't booked anyways so I didn't mistakly took place of others it was empty and would stay empty) so I had to pay for a room I wasn't there. Second big negative thing is their washing machine, after spending 10min in Google translater to figure out how it's working I had to find a place to hang my washed clothes and the place is just not existing, no line, no air cuz underground, my clothes have been wet for around 48h. Third small thing I would like to change would be some automatically air refresh they cheap works with battery cuz everytime u enter the underground room it smells moldy and just bad, after some min u get used to it. Thanks anyways

Everything was there what u need for living, location is near a main street and bus stops so u can reach everything pretty fast with the istambul card. It was clean, my room was underground without windows at first it seems bad but I actually liked to sleep there, no sounds or lights disturbing my sleep.

As its on a busy street its quite noisy even past midnight, they may need to invest on good matresses its just my preference as I am used to soft.

Its a nice little apartment on a busy street , close to most local amenities & a walking distance to taksim square. Staff is excellent & does help out on any requests , they go out of there way.

The studio is tiny. My fault for booking it but can't move if you have a suitcase. The second apartment was spacious but the shower was broken so it didn't work properly at all. Parking was very hard and risky in the narrow streets. Rental could have been hit or scratched.

The staff were very nice, friendly and easy to get on with. Helped every time I needed something. Water and heating worked. Walking distance from Taksim and public transport. Shops all around the area. The apartments were clean and good facilities all in all.

Cold shower water. The ceiling in basement apartment is too low for a tall person. Humidity high and air quality not good. But OK for a one or two nights stay.

The only minor points are: The bed was slightly uncomfortable and there was tiny bit to less space to dry the towels.

The location was very nice, not to far away from the main spots, but still super quiet. Really helpful and always nice staff, they helped us to get around, plan our trip (even away from istanbul) and organized transport for a reasonable price (to the airport for example).

The apartment in basement three floor down, I booked for three nights , 2nd night I can midnight after two hours water starting dripping from the ceiling in one corner exactly above the electric box, I could not sleep whole night , unable to contact due to Wi-Fi was switched off and mobile signals was not covered due to basement. In morning 9’O clock lady came to clean other apartment. I showed her and they promised me when I will come back in afternoon you will get your room clean from water , all floor was full of water. When I came they didn’t clean after waiting two hours they clean and I entered the room.
