What a fantastic place. Staff were superb. Never had such a helpful team from arriving in the taxi to leaving for the airport. They literally could not have done e more hotel great, location great, roof top bar great, food great, room great.

Great location, walking distance to lots of the main attractions, staff were highly professional and helpful and really made the stay a pleasure. The breakfasts were very good and set us up for the day. Great little grocery store over the road and the rooftop bar was well laid out.

This is an owner operated property and we feel welcome as soon as we arrived Location is great, breakfast and coffee and dessert are all good I will definitely come back and stay at this hotel again and highly recommend friends if they visit Istanbul

The location was fantastic, easy walk to main attractions All staff were super friendly and helpful The rooms were spacious, shower was excellent, beds comfy ,and no noise from road . Would definitely stay there again 10/10

The rooms or facilities were not quite European levels but The prices definitely are !! (In all fairness, this is the case with everything in Istanbul) the staff offer to book everything for you but you will pay more as they get their cut and usually not receipted.

Facilities are little bit outdated.

The location is excellent, particularly if you want to explore the charm of the old city with its historic sites and vibrant atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the stay comfortable and pleasant. Services were delivered at a good standard, and the overall experience was enhanced by the quality of the food, which was both tasty and well presented.

Location was perfect. So close to the sites and a great place to start the days adventure. Breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful. Accomadated our late checkin and found and reserved parking for us in front of the hotel Sitting on the rooftop at beer o'clock watching the sun set over the water was a highlight!

We had the best experience at Hotel Amira! They graciously accommodated us when we needed to rest earlier than our scheduled check-in and even upgraded our room — such a thoughtful gesture. The breakfast was superb, and it was my first time enjoying a buffet that featured a fresh honeycomb — absolutely delightful! The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Sultanahmet area, with iconic landmarks like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and Basilica Cistern all within walking distance. The rooftop terrace, overlooking the stunning Marmara Sea, was my absolute favorite spot — perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Special thanks to the night front desk staff, Mr. Oz (apologies if I’m not spelling that correctly), for his kind assistance, and to the management team for their impeccable hospitality and outstanding service. You truly made our stay memorable.

There are so many wonderful memories we had while staying at Hotel Amira. First, the teams e.g. Reception team - super helpful with directions, recommending great food places and providing ice on the hot days. Our Breakfast team - including the awesome lady who made our morning Gozleme's every morning, were fabulous in every way! The dinner team up on the rooftop were also great, the views up there were incredible. The location is 10/10! Amira is in the Old City and central to all the hot spots e.g. Sophia Hagia, Blue Mosque, Bascilia Cistern and Granbd Bizaare - as well as many many other great places and eateries. Our room was huge, the bed was amazing, overall the stay was incredible!
