How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The Receptionists are very rude even the person in the messages threatening me that I’m lucky to get my booking cancelled and she said she could charge me but they decide not to even I paid online and they wanted a cash as well for the same reservation. For a 5* this should never happened.

If your going shopping it about 40 minute walk to Fatih and 15/20 minute taxi ride although the tram is right outside very quick and cheap.
The hote was nice and very clean the staff at the desk spoke well English. Our room way nice and clean and my partner was allowed to smoke . We opted out from breakfast as we didn’t want to wake up early

They could make an effort the keep things clean. The duvet on my bed was stained and I don’t now if it’s blood or coffee. Also, hair in the toilet. For the price they can do better.
The location is ok, lots of shops and restaurants. If you want to walk to the Gran Bazar it’s possible (long walk). Also they let me in a bit earlier than the check in time.

Big plus it was that in front of the hotel we had the tram that was so easy to go to city center an visit everything. Minus for hotel -the internet didn’t work all night either morning until 7-8:00. The staff very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is totally waste of money !! Its only about 4 types of cheese and eggs its suitable for 3 its not suitable even for 4 stars hotel !! .. cleaning stuff is complaining all the time even when i give them tip !! .. also last day reception man told me that i cant bring food with me from outside the hotel and i am forced to order from the hotel restaurant which is so expensive and so bad cooked food

The Matress on my bed was comfortable, however it could have been better to be very honest
The breakfast was really nice cause I love to have fruits and salads in my breakfast and this time there was ample of them available especially melon and watermelon. The breakfast area was nice. Restaurant and seating outside by the pool was excellent. The lounge in the reception area is really nice and relaxing. Lastly I hope I will have the same experience with you on my next trip to Istanbul . Thank you .

Staff during check-in was being quite arrogant. Also, got no help from them when the AC in the room stopped working. Frustrating. Not what you expect from this type of a hotel.
Nice room, spacious and tidy. Pool zone was also good.

The chap at reception!! The mix of floors of smoking / non smoking — of the 3 wings — 1 should be smoking and the 2 non smoking rooms Location for team into main tourist area is brilliant — only less than 50 meters to Tram station!!! Saves a fortune on taxis and traffic and reduces pollution
The big downside is that the hotel has some floors where smoking rooms are available— why not make 1 block as smoking rooms and the other 2 blocks as no smoking ?? Also at reception there was a gentleman who was so sos o rude and we felt like thieves — I explain we have prepaid the rooms and why he was still asking for Payment — we stood in reception and he realised his error but did not applogises once !! Think the hotel either give him a warning or dismiss him as 2 other guests commented same in the guy Overall — Ergy and Serkan at reception and bell desk were excellent staff !! Breakfast was good and could improve with more choice of local fruits and fresh orange juice

Got upgrade to a junior suite and was very good except smell of cigarette smoke

Noise, disturbance from outside may be very close to public road.
Tram stoppage just opposite. They also have us travel card , we uploaded and travelled all through tram except airport transfers. In the same track all the tourist points , Indian restaurants were available. 3 night stay sufficient for Istanbul
