Everything was great but just our mattress was too firm

Garden by the river was spectacular. It had a great view for ancient tombs. Breakfast was really good. Very friendly staff.

The location where the breakfast was served was in a beautiful garden right on the river. Lots of fresh local produce, served by the beautiful family that owns the property.

We loved the lush garden setting and the relaxed seating overlooking the river with stunning views across to the ancient tombs. We liked the relaxed family atmosphere and the warm welcome we received from our hosts on arrival.

Not meant as a critique but the rooms are very small and dark. If you have lots of luggage it is a bit of a challenge. The whole place lives from the outside settings, the beautiful garden, river and the friendliness of the owners. Not meant as an inside stay.

Superb location on the river in the middle of a lush garden. Very friendly owners and a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. Good breakfast on the banks of the river. A wonderful place to explore the Dalian Delta and the Istuzu beach.

Exceptionally located on the river. In a quiet lane a little walk away from town. A very pretty garden to relax in. Boats to various trips can pick up and drop off directly from the hotel.

There’s nothing not to like. It’s a basic bed and breakfast and the rooms are small and a bit dated (particularly the bathrooms), but perfectly comfortable.

Just the loveliest little garden backing on to the river (you can swim!) and the nicest Turkish breakfast anywhere (I will come back just for the pişi!). The owners are chill and welcoming. An easy 10 mins walk puts you in the centre of town. The local boats can pick you up from the backyard.

Beautiful, quiet location and right on the river. The deck and the garden are excellent places to chill out, swim, or read a book. The extensive and tasty Turkish breakfast buffet is served at the same riverfront, if you’re lucky you can spot a happy looking Caretta sticking its head out of the water every now and then. Very friendly and attentive owners and staff. Rooms are on the small side but well equipped and fit for purpose. Would be very happy to return one day to this lovely place.

This hotel is in a beautiful location, on the river opposite the rock tombs. The gardens are beautiful, the staff are lovely and the whole place has a calm, tranquil vibe.

The best location you can stay in Dalyan. This is my second time in this hotel and everything looked better. Amazing views facing the rock tombs. Staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. Close to the town center. So peaceful and quiet in the night. Would recommend it.

Ability to make hot drinks in the room would be welcome.

Great location. Friendly owners, clean and comfortable faciities. Able to sit by the river, watch the traffic on the river and viewfamous rock tombs opposite. famous rock tombs. Quirky with well tended mature gardens. Short drive to town which was lovely with interesting shops and plentiful eating and drinking otions. Well worth a visit.

Incredible place, charming, natural, beautiful. Very calm and serene, the perfect place for nature lovers and whoever is looking for a break away from the confusion of the mass tourism. They have various species of birds, well cared, they have access to the river where you can swim, and can easily call a boat to get you to the beach. The owners are caring and heart warming, very nice and genuine people. The breakfast is very good! We will surely stay with them again when we come back to Dalyan.

Very nice place to stay. Beautiful garden and atmosphere. The staff is very kind and welcoming. Rooms are very clean. The view on the river is top. We took a boat from there and this is one of the best hotel you can choose here when you get to see the other options.

We enjoyed our stay at Happy Caretta! This charming hotel is set in a beautiful garden right on the river with a lovely view of the Rock Tombs. The owners are a lovely couple who were very helpful and kind. The room and bed were very comfortable though the bath was a little small. The Turkish breakfast was basic but good. A great value stay for exploring beautiful Dalyan.

Hallway was dark, room clean but nothing special, dogs barking interfered with sleep, basic breakfast, needs more fruit.

Good location, easy walk to town, great view of tombs, relaxing sitting by the river watching sunset go down, host had good English and was helpful.

The rooms were very tired and need an update. The beds are very hard. The breakfast was basic and no drinking water provided without additional charge which is unusual for Turkey.

We loved the location, quiet enough but near to the town. Beautiful views of the carvings and right by the river. The hotels garden was well maintained and a little oasis.
