iIt is not clean enough, the food is simple and not varied. The hotel could be renovated.

The location. We have the parking spot in front of the hotel. It is good value for the money we spent.

Our room on the 2nd floor had traffic noise, it didn't really bother us but light sleepers may wish to request a high floor on the side.

Nice comfortable hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. The room had everything we needed, the turkish breakfast had a great selection and the location for us was perfect with lots of supermarkets and restaurants very close. Konak square is about a 20 min walk and the Agora 10 mins. We will definitely stay again if in Izmir. Thanks to the staff.

Breakfast was very poor, only scrambled and boiled eggs with cucumbers and tomatoes. No coffee making facility during breakfast, instead a jar of coffee was available to make your own. No coffee available in the room, only tea sachets which were very weak. Room and hotel is quite dated and in need of a refurb. Quite noisy as hotel is on a busy road.

It was very noisy due to being on a main road. For some reason the Turkish are obsessed with pressing the horn on their cars! The staff on the front desk were very blunt when asking them a question, they need to put a smile on their face and be more polite, hospitality is everything! Signs and information in the room saying the restaurant was in the same place where you have breakfast but it isn't, there is a restaurant next door, which is also ran by the hotel staff.( not that, that was a problem) my point is they need to update their signage and information in the rooms. My bedside lights were not working so had to get out of bed to turn the lights off, (I like to read before sleeping and once relaxed I like to just turn the light off and go to sleep) I spoke to a handyman about it and he just said "Not working and shrugged his shoulders"! Would I stay here again? No.

The room was good for a standard room. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant next door was good, I ate here most days, the waiter, a young man named Marsum, was very friendly and an older chap too.

The only complaint is the poor breakfast, which is very strange in a country known for its rich breakfast. A small selection of food that is not replenished.

Breakfast was pretty basic. Traffic was extremely noisy especially in the morning. The room looked a bit tired in places.

I mostly booked this hotel because of the balcony seating area. And although we spent most of our time in Alsancak, we enjoyed the walk from the hotel. The Izmir Kulture Park is minutes away.

No light was working in one the room the reception told me that they were not able to fix it in the same day and no room was a available at the time. No lock for the toilet ! imagine I was with my family with kids.
