So expensive ! Wouldn’t say it was good value given how much we paid and breakfast was not included. We paid $23 for two black coffees! Triple what we pay back at home. Or you can order individual options off the menu instead of buffet Brekky which works out much better. We opted not to include buffet Brekky in our booking and instead made our own yogurt and granola bowls. The location is also too far to walk to the main city centre and bus stop which is our fault for not checking. I will say I was heartbroken at how much Yalıkavak has changed and how pretentious it has become.

We loved the private beach access and the pool was beautiful. The room was minimal and plain. We enjoyed our balcony. Staff were polite and pleasant.

Breakfast needs to have more items ( croissant, pancakes , doughnuts , mortadella, salami , smoked Turkey , oats , cereal , corn flakes , Granola , etc….)

We disliked our room :it felt prison like and very basic, with minimal amenities (no tissues, no extras, missing shampoo/conditioner on the last day). It gave the impression the hotel was cutting costs on room facilities. However, the rest of the hotel made up for it.

We loved the breakfast: small but perfect (everything you could wish for and of quality products), with delicious pies that changed daily, and a beautiful, idyllic breakfast area with an amazing view. The beach was nice, even if a bit old, and our child swam all day. We also enjoyed the pool and the charming stairs to the beach. The staff were exceptionally kind and friendly, which made our holiday great.

The difference in elevation between the lobby, rooms, pool, and beach. For elderly people like us it was mission impossible, but was good exercise 🙂

The little things cost extra.... we couldn't beleive that they provided coffee in the room but not small saches of milk (for those that don't do creamer) - for the price one would expect a small milk, even if it was long life, in the room. When asked if they had milk they said it would cost extra. If one is spending so much what does an extra 10lira per person per day factor in?

The single scratchy blanket on the bed, the fridge didn't cool and the wifi is slow. The restaurant closes at 5.30pm.

Hot water was not available at check-in, I had to call for service and it was rectified swiftly. Many stairs all around.

Two major things stand out: the beds do not have normal duvets. They come with just a thin cover that resembles a towel as another reviewer described it. That leaves you cold when the AC is on or when it’s cold outside. We have never encountered a similar situation at a four star hotel before. When I asked reception, I was told that the hotel doesn’t use duvets and instead they sent us another thin cover. The second setback is the loud music coming from the nearby Galliard restaurant that resounds in the rooms and stays until midnight on weeknights and until 1-2am on weekends. I addressed the issue with reception but they couldn’t do anything about it. Management needs to tackle these issues. I would definitely not return to this hotel if nothing is fixed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel restaurant had a good variety of food and a lovely view overlooking the sea.

The on site restaurant was too expensive for what it provided. Need a taxi to get anywhere but that's only minor and something to bear in mind if staying in the area.

Beautiful venue with pool and beach. Lovely staff who assisted with everything and kept the venue clean at all times. Rooms are simple but that is the concept of their venue. They assisted us in getting taxis to yalikavak and to bodrum, which is essential given the location (about 10 mins drive from Yalikavak marina).

The in-house restaurant closed at 6 p.m daily and the only other restaurant within walking distance was ridiculously priced. The room does not allow for self catering so all meals have to be eaten out and restaurants are in town +- 3km away.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the view from our balcony,,lovely.
