Beautiful and quiet place with a wonderful host. Hilarious designed and calming interior. Ideal location to explore the town, cafes and restaurants close by. And after the whole day to sleep in a comfortable bed. Definitely come back.

There’s no parking directly at the hotel, but there are options just a short 300–400m walk away.

We couldn’t be happier with our stay – it was simply perfect! Our host, Demet, truly made our time here unforgettable. She is incredibly warm, caring, and attentive. No matter what we needed, she always found a solution and made us feel completely welcome and at home. The entire place is spotless and beautifully maintained, which instantly makes you feel comfortable. The breakfast was another highlight – freshly prepared, homemade, and absolutely delicious. You can taste the love and effort in every bite! 🥐☕️ The location is also fantastic – very central, with everything within walking distance. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely come back! Demet, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this trip so special. 🤍✨

Quaint boutique stay with a clean and very well equipped room. We arrived early and our host Dee was very friendly and accomodating, with lots of attention to extra details like home made cookies and suggestions for must do’s on our trip

One of the best stays we've ever had, loved everything about it. The breakfast was outstanding, made with love and fresh ingredients, everyone still talks about it. Demet is a wonderfully warm and attentive host with great English. The small, family-run hotel is beautifully renovated - minimalist, modern, and welcoming. Great location near the center of Ayvalık in a charming old street. The hotel even has a rooftop terrace with a stunning view over the city and the sunset. Bonus: lovely cats!

I have nothing but the utmost praise for Demet at Gaja Rooms. Her meticulous attention to detail is truly unmatched. Together with her husband, she has created a peaceful and beautifully curated sanctuary in the heart of Ayvalik, just by the Aegean coast. The hotel is located in the quieter part of Ayvalik, offering a sense of calm and retreat, yet it’s only a short stroll—around five minutes on foot—to the lively market area. It’s also easy to find, and we were greeted by the sight of a beautiful bougainvillea in full bloom, draped gracefully over the front of the building. It immediately set the tone for a warm and welcoming stay. Demet welcomed us personally and thoughtfully provided a list of recommended eateries, restaurants, and places of interest to explore in and around Ayvalik. Her local insight made our visit even more enjoyable and helped us make the most of our time in the area. Our room was extremely well appointed, with tasteful, stylish touches throughout. Everything felt carefully considered and in excellent condition, blending comfort with character. A highlight of our stay was breakfast—an outstanding spread of local delicacies and handmade dishes, prepared with care by Demet and her chef husband. It was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride and hospitality. Gaja Rooms is truly a gem—quiet, beautiful, and full of heart. We’ll remember our stay with great fondness and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a genuine, restful, and memorable experience in Ayvalik.

The property’s location is excellent, good balance of being close to the town centre but far enough away to be quiet. It is well organised, very clean and comfortable beds. The hostess is amongst the best I have experienced, very attentive and concerned about guests enjoying her property and her lovely city.
