Reviews of Galley Port Hotel

The location is good, close to everything, about a ten-minute walk to the city center, and close to the bazaars and markets. The place was just wonderful, everything was good. Thanks to the owner of the apartment, he was very helpful and polite.

What I didn't like was the shower, it was a small, cramped place and the toilet seat was moving unsteadily. We stayed in the apartment for a week and it was cleaned only once.

The host of Galley Port is a stand up guy. He will help you with any needs you may need, from advice on how to get to places, to a simple phone charger. Hes your guy

The bathroom is small, the sink is very small and there is a cupboard above because of which you couldn't wash because you bumped into it... I am attaching a picture for edification,The parking lot, located 200-300 m away, costs 12 euros per day and is not specified in the ad

Clean and comfy bed. Excellent cafe and desert shop right opposite which was perfect as well as restaurants with competitive prices. Located by local supermarkets with non tourist prices.

The location is 10 mins from the main road and is downhill so a steepclimb. Not a problem for me but maybe for others.

The rooms are simple, not luxurious, but very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent — within walking distance of the main attractions. The host showed genuine care — he asked about our arrival time, offered help with transfer, and told us we could stay a bit longer if needed. He also kindly treated us to cold water, which was very appreciated in the heat. He guided us where to park the car, which was very helpful. Overall, we felt truly welcome and had everything we needed for a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Administrator Ramazan was so polite, he helped us with early check in and transfer to the airport, the room is clean. Amazing

Location is great. There is lot of shops. Very helpful staff. He organized out transfer from airport. He is always available on WhatsApp. He let us stay at apartment after 11.00 o´clock.

Apartment is still being improved - they renovated living room and bedrooms. They need to renovate bathroom and kitchen. There is balcony. There are photos of apartmen on comment 25.2.2025, and it looks like that.

Great position very close to Blue Mosque.

We stayed here for 3 nights with my two Erasmus friends, and we absolutely loved it. The location was perfect – close to all the main attractions, restaurants, and public transport. Staying in the center of Istanbul was an experience in itself, and this hotel made it even better. The rooms were clean, cozy, and quiet – just what we needed after full days of exploring the city. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us or give recommendations. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was very warm and welcoming, and we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience Istanbul fully while having a nice, peaceful base to return to. Thank you for the lovely stay – we’d love to come back one day!

staff was really good and very near to blue mosque, aya Sofia, topkapi, grand bazar, spice bazar and easy to find something outside in streer

rooms were not sound proof and usually you can easily wokeup because of bikes and cars on road at night

We had a great stay! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly—they offered us several activities to choose from and even helped us arrange transportation to the airport. Our arrival time was flexible, which made things much easier, and they kindly let us leave our backpacks during the day after checkout. Overall, a very welcoming experience. Highly recommended!

The reception staff was very helpful at any time and for everything, the location was good. The only issue we had was that the windows and doors were not soundproof so you could hear everything from outside. Great value for money though!
